Plot is not the best but it is Intriguing and Enjoyable.
Acting of the Casts is Exceptional.
Especially Seo Ji Hye, Lee Sung Jae and Jung Yoo Min is a revelation here.

Unfortunately that is how dramas are mostly rated especially here on MDL
Stories/Plots/Genre is the main criteria. The others are secondary only.
Casting/Acting are sometimes overlooked.

It's mostly subjective. Majority don't like Makjang so viewers down voted. Plus the sensitive elements of Infidelity.

Nothing wrong with forgiveness. It does happen in real life. I even know someone personally whose significant other cheated on her and forgave him 3 times.

Or Another scenario would be CW and BD will divorce but will still forgive each other and EK.
The question is will CW forgive BD “IF” Mi Poong is not his biological daughter?

Parts I Like.

- EK comforting ES. I always thought their relationship seems distant but I guess due to their age gap they were more of a mother-daughter type of dynamics. EK said she practically raised ES like her own kid. No wonder she is very protective of her.
I cried with ES with the trauma she had as a kid re: her parents.
- EK and EK's Uncle( Dae Geun) drinking Pep Talk. DG telling EK she is a good person but EK said she is afraid of herself that she does not know who the real EK is.
- EK and ES's Parents dancing. Now I know why their Mom does hold on to their Dad despite his philandering and it was because he saved her from the accident when they were kids.
- EK's Parents mentioning Parasites vibes. Lol.

Also I want to know what EK has on NC that she keeps threatening him about it.

Seo Ji Hye and Jung Yoo Min's continues to deliver amazing acting especially on Episode 13
JYM's crying scenes.
SJH's nuances especially the scene with the Uncle.

All relationship stories in this drama are unhealthy. Characters are messed up.
When watching, one needs to have an open mind as it is just a drama.
Still Infidelity is a big no and I don't think the writer's purpose is to glorify infidelity. This is the niche genre she is known for.

I am not familiar with Lee Byung Joon. I saw his name on guest role. Maybe he will be playing EK/ES Dad's Friend who belongs to the womanizer circle. Lol.

Still puzzles me that BD have not even met any of EK's family member.
My close friends knows my whole family
I guess EK is not really BD's friend but just her beck and call girl

Favorite Parts
- EK going out of her way to look and find the same bunny for Mi Poong. To me that itself is very telling she loves the kid like her own.
- The banters between CW's Mom and EK/ES's Mom. CW's Mom getting intimated/insecure on how EK's Mom looked good on her outfit. Lol those two ahjummas crack me up
- EK/ES's family dynamics during breakfast. How their Dad and Mom manage to inject humor on their messy family situation

Despite the episode getting more and more intense, I still love some parts of Episode 12

On a side note, EK's makeover transformation with the hair and outfits starting from Episode 11 is giving me SJH Seo Dan CLOY vibes or even Hong Ye Seul Kiss Sixth Sense vibes
SJH is the most beautiful villain/antagonist ever.
The cast continue to give us awesome portrayal especially SJH and LSJ.
JYM is giving some serious acting too.

Absolutely agree with you on this
Infidelity/Cheating tends to happen more in real life
Thus, viewers are more sensitive about the topic.

I hope she gets nominated for an award
Baeksang, APAN or Korea Drama awards

Very profound way to view this drama.
Like someone said here, this drama doesn't seek to explain behavior but instead present it to us view and ponder.
To me rooting for the FL and ML who are both cheaters is ok.
Watching a drama does not necessarily translate your real life's perspectives.

No it’s not ok to cheat.
I don’t think the drama’s message is to covey that “It is ok to cheat”.
Moon Young Nam writing style is makjang/family/melo and she does have dedicated fans (maybe mostly outside Seoul) who like her plot as most of her dramas have double digit ratings. She is feeding her fans the genre they love.
Maybe the drama will never get a happy ending. Though I just hope I can still get a character development with the leads.
