First Night with the Duke is really interesting. You should also try Salon de Holmes, Hunter with a scalpel, Head…
I don't like the sounds of Chinese; but I find Korean very harmonious, and I decided to learn it. I started 18 months ago, and it has become a passion.
As for online comments, I no longer read them when deciding which series to watch. For example, everyone said that "Queen of Tears" was great, but I didn't like it at all for lots of reasons. There was only one very minor character that I liked. Same thing for "Good Boy," which I don't like at all. On the contrary, there are dramas that almost everyone agrees are bad, and that I found entertaining. So, I form my own opinion without taking into account what others think. De gustibus, non est disputandum!
And there are actors I don't like for some reason ,even if they are praised by critics and adored by the public, so I try to avoid dramas where they star.
When a new series seems interesting to me, I watch the episodes as soon as they come out, which allows me to follow several series at the same time. That way, if there is one that disappoints me, I abandon it and I still have at least an other one in progress!
You're right to do things at your own pace , so do I .

I have watched hundred of K dramas and I would agree with you on one point: some K dramas produced by Netflix begin to be "westernalized" ( For example, I didn't like The glory because of some sex scenes that were unnecessary .)I stopped watching western productions because of that and I regret that in some new K dramas they use nudity to attract a global audience. But this year there are really good new dramas. So, don't be a laudator temporis acti, or you will miss some very good opportunities. But it's your choice, after all!

Im at half of the eps 1 and even now i can feel the second lead syndrome and i hate it. Probably gonna drop bcz…
There is not really a love triangle. And the second lead turned out to be a very good person.I watched till the end because the actor , in my opinion, really nailed the role. It was a good surprise I didn't even know him before.

As I said before, I will keep on watching it just for the two leads. Have you watched "Oh my ghost clients" or "salon de Holmes"? I LOVE those two dramas!

Thank you. Yes I read the article too; a slice of life drama can be interesting but ...I hate to say this ... Law and the city is boring!

I just finished watching ep3 and I'm disappointed. I hoped to see more scenes at court and legal "fights" between lawyers. The pace is too slow and there are too many scenes that serve no purpose other than to fill the gaps. It's a bit boring. I just watch now for LJS (but his role isn't outstanding either) and MGY.
