As for me , I first watched the drama because of KSH whom I liked a lot in his older dramas but I was not impressed by his acting in QOT (Too many crying moments)I Besides, in the first epidodes the scenes where kind people from the countryside are ridiculed by rich chaebols reallly bugged me ! ( + Too many scenes with luxury cars...) Do you want me to dream, provide me a good plot instead of showing the life of rich people who only think about money! The story was boring and I had to FORCE mylsef to watch the last 2 episodes! I kept on watching only because of Kwack Dong Yeo who played this good dad, naive but so endearing. He is the only character who had no ulterior motives and only thought of his wife and the baby that he considered his own. A breath of freshness in that rotten world.
My thoughts! EXACTLY! This drama is clearly overrated. Although I liked a lot Kim Soo Hyun in his others dramas, he didn't impress me in QOT. (Too many crying moments!) I couldn't feel any sympathy for the main leads. The only reason why I kept on watching was Kwak Dong Yeon . I really loved the character he played.

I'm just retired but I was a professor of classical literature (French, Latin and Greek), so please stop saying that I didn't understand this or that! I have spent my entire life explaining to my students texts that were much more complicated and difficult than the script of this drama. Now I finally have free time to discover something else. But I want to be selective and I only want to watch what I like and not what other people like. As I said “De gustibus, non est disputandum!” There are much more reasons why I feel uncomfortable with this drama but I don't want to waste my time trying to explain them to people who obviously don't want to hear another opinion .
