Currently watching episode 2, and the costume party scene has me all excited to see Peng Guanyin in his next Republican era drama, he looks absolutely gorgeous in this type of look.
had been racking my brain for a week thinking about where I saw Seok Matthew before, just realised that he looks a lot like Jung jae Won(ONE) when he smiles.
While the sml is definitely the worst part of this drama, I’d like to say that don’t get influenced by the negative and just start it. It’s absolutely fluffy, sweet with zero angst/trauma/villainous parents and sweetest group of friends. I’ve had this in my plan-to-watch list for months before I finally started watching it yesterday and definitely have not regretted it. The nicest ML definitely makes up for the annoyance caused by the sml.
comments were kinda scary but now that I'm watching it, its really not that bad. There are definitely worse FLs out there, and even the ML gives much more reaction and smile than most dramas. Loved the way the FL handled the clingy girl.
for the newcomers, don't let the comments confuse you. You'd know if you're into the revenge-romance trope, the ML could be a lot worse. He's actually pretty tame compared to some of the Mls in these type of dramas. Y'all can ask me if you want to know about anything before starting it.
