There are no actual ghosts in the story - when cursing or insulting someone in Chinese, the term "ghost" is often used - you can see that when the boatman repeatedly calls ZZS "sick ghost". The Ghost Valley is a place where criminals, misfits and abandoned people from the jianghu end up. They are the nominal villains in the story and I emphasize "nominal" - you will see why as you watch more episodes. You will also find quite a few parallels for the Ghost Valley in other wuxia dramas/stories.

That's an emphatic YES. Sizzling chemistry between the 2 leads; one of the best scripts in c-drama; great supporting cast; beautiful fighting sequences etc etc etc..........these are just some of the things you can look forward to.

Yes, I think it can be considered the pinnacle of C-drama in recent years. It's what I recommend next to my friends who're new to c-drama and want more after they listened to me ranting about WOH and started watching it...........

You'll want to rewatch it. On 2nd or even 3rd viewing you will still find new things. Also youku is releasing different versions on YT - yet another excuse to rewatch :)
