Yeah, I’m hooked on gjm’s dark aesthetics and color palettes...but surprisingly, I like WoF too ...tho I'm not so much into bright colors but they work here because they’re kinda harmonized, not a chaotic color blast....if that makes sense.
VoF made me realize how unfair they’re being to VoS. Aside from Yunxi, the VoF trailers, teasers, and some bts shots were intriguing engh to got me interested in the story nd char...and VoS deserves the same...Not like some basic cp promo.... gjm's never into that anyway....but something that shows the VoS actual story and char, that’s also different nd intriguing like VoF ...and how’s anyone supposed to know it if they don’t release anything😭

Well.. there’s some confusion about their titles...both listed as "special lead invitation" or "special guest appearance" but mdl doesn’t have that category ..🙃both filmed a lot tght..around 20 of the 50 days, now Rui stayed on set after she wrapped cause he’s in the later timeline too. So both look more like supporting roles ...nd mdl might update it later..

Well, haters gonna hate… but when it’s well organized it really drags the ratings down. BR dropped from 8.3 or 8.4 to 7.9 in just a few hours ...same thing happened with TJOL..mdl needs to fix their rating system during airing ...

It’s more of a social drama with complex parental issues… Ruohan...his FL, plays someone just like him .... so yep, two red flags😁and parents totally blind to who their kids really are..

He plays a complex character .... kind, angelic face on the outside,...but a deeply troubled soul inside...def capable of some dark thoughts and moves..

So far we’ve seen him as the little psycho Yuanzhi😏 Soon we’ll get him in Rosy Clouds..dif but already a super interesting char in the novel and anime. And yeah...his ability to show duality is totally off the charts

Love that ... he made it clear early on he doesn’t wanna be put in a box. Said recently he wants a villain role....pure evil, no redemption arc...no sympathy...nothing....i totally second that choice😁

Got hooked from the start... watched the first 3 eps already. Loved seeing the character I’d been waiting to start things off with that mass murdering folk wedding scene...lol..The story’s good, love the whole investigation thing nd them traveling all over...Aesthetic’s mostly stunning, chars so distinctive, not to mention the bromance vibes...and that TLC and LY flashback scene was great...Yunxi is so good... 😭 now i hate that iQiyi doesn’t have it in my region and mango’s subs are a mess… not worth to sub so i have to wait...

I’ve seen edits now of SMY delivering a death blow and CHS who looked kinda resigned, as if accepting it…he even closed his eyes I think...and i thought that was interesting...but to me, they mostly feel like strangers...and didn't feel much
