I hope Sheng Chang Huan decides to kill himself somehow and takes that piece of shit He Yao down with him. All the humanity left in Sheng Chang Huan couldn't—and never will—redeem He Yao. And Lin Zai deserves a couple of sharp slaps across the face for the idiocy he keeps displaying. At this point, the fact that he’s still alive in the middle of a zombie apocalypse is clearly down to sheer dumb luck, because he has the survival instincts of a rock. I love this drama, but the way they’ve stunted Lin Zai’s character development is appalling.
I hope no one takes offense, but I want to share my opinion on this show. Acting: It’s the first time I’ve seen Tongtong act, and I was absolutely impressed. This guy knows how to act and has real talent. Truly an incredible performance. Another actor who showed talent was Toey; he really resonated with me throughout the drama. Boss's acting, however, was a total letdown—he was expressionless; whether he was crying or laughing, it looked exactly the same. He definitely wasn't on the same level as his co-star. I hope for the sake of his career that he improves, because being tall and cute shouldn't be enough. Kudos, on the other hand, to Phoom; despite his youth, he brought depth to his controversial character.
Plot: A mess. There are plot holes everywhere. Illogical, senseless jumps. Events are taken for granted throughout the series without even a hint of explanation. It’s a shame, because the concept is great and it could have been a real hit.
Cinematography: I liked it; even with limited special effects, they managed to create just the right supernatural atmosphere.
My rating is a 7.5, mainly thanks to the performances of the actors playing Ken and Jirat—honestly, they carried the entire drama.
There are better shows out there, but this one is enjoyable; in my personal opinion, it certainly doesn't deserve an 8.6.
