haha true, Honestly, none of the female character here can match with TLC anyway. If TLC lose, no way any of them can win against the opponent. At least Ashui is like a physician who can cure him.

No one also able to do anything when the ledgers are burned in the fire. While Ashui actually memorize & written it down to help to clear TLC's name. I like her calm and quiet demeanor. Though we still havent see her motive yet, I still find Ashui &TLC interaction quite interesting. She is one of the reason for me to watch this drama,

I feel sorry for the Chengyang. He is such an innocent soul that did not fit with his mother and grandfather agenda. At least FSG & FYX wont be trapped in the palace wall. FSG can still control everything as he is the regent. He also hold the military power. So in the end, he got the best of both world 😆
I like the ending for this drama. The leads are not retiring to countryside or just abandon their duties. They just need a break after all those betrayals. FSG still hold the most power in court & acts as a regent. Quite a good strategy as FSG wont be trapped in the palace but still able to control the courts.
He will oversee his sister to see whether she can be a good ruler. Who knows if in the future, Xiyang wants to step down, then FSG or his son might takes the throne. Whatever it is, I believe he will comes out with the best solution. FYX & FSG wont leave their people as both value peace.
I am also glad the Chengyang did not take the wrong road. Its show how the siblings really value & cherish each others. Quite a rare sight for a royal family that tend to kill each other to get the throne.

He spends many time to plot only end up to be killed by FSG who did not even bring his army..LOL. He is stupid to go against him. He should retreat but his ego got the best of him.
Despite the common amnesia plot, this drama still manage to stand out. The amnesia in the beginning or towards the end just flow smoothly. It is also quite an emotional scene. Its good this drama manage to avoid those clique storyline. No unnecessary dragging nor misunderstanding between the leads.
Though I think XJS as a main villain is quite weak. He is quite useless until towards the end. It is quite a symbolic how everything started with an arrow, and ended with the arrow too. It show that how one action can actually change the final circumstances. Everything is fated.
I have a low expectation on this drama after being let down by other female general drama. What a huge surprise as both ML & FL are totally potray their character so well. Both leads have a healthy relationship by communicating with each other. No misunderstanding but trust & respect.
FYX is in the top list of FL together with Ruyi from AJTL. I love how FYX continues to support FSG until the end, both stand equally on the same ground. This is how a writer should write a female general. Decisive, intelligent, brave & strong.

Well the Zhuang is never happy with the former empress. So I am not surprised if they plotted against Storm Alliance as it is founded by FSG' mother. They might want to eliminate any support FSG can get.
XJS is such a psychopath. I never pity him until the end. He said Jing Yan is a demon as his hand is full of blood. Such a hypocrite. He is also the same as Jing Yan but act high and mighty. He hides his façade behind his calm demeanor while killing and backstab other people.
