I think this drama show quite an interesting perspectives on father's love to his son, whether it is right or wrong -The Emperor, Murong Zhong & the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister blind love towards his son makes him seek for revenge on his death. While Murong Zhong wants to protect his son safety regardless of what happen to him.
Lastly, the Emperor obsession just makes his family fall apart, killing his wife and makes his son despise him. In a way, he is also the catalyst that lead to all these mess. Why he did not eliminate the Zhuang to protect FSG?? Why he wont talk to Murong Zhong instead of thinking lets FSG settle it ??? Though he looks like he care when he asked if FSG is hurt when dealing with the Prime Minister. But I am not sure if he even know how to love his own son in the right way.

There is totally no dull moment for this drama. Even the preview for next ep is really exciting as more unexpected things coming out. I applause the writer for doing so well as compare to the novel. If this continue until the end, this drama will be one of the best cdrama.

I prefer Fated Hearts because the leads are matured & there is no typical trope of love triangle with obsessed 2nd ML . Love triangle is just so annoying when it add nothing to the plot.
