A very good movie. The fact that this was all based on a real story makes it even better. Eventhough there isn't much information on the internet about Kano and their players, I deepdived to look for information and read up on it as much as I could. That's how interested this movie got me.
(I do have to admit I really like baseball, so that also might be a factor why I like this movie so much)

The investigative news team found there are at least 10 female victims
Speaking to one of the victims she stated “Disgusted by being filmed without consent. Although it’s late if there is an investigation I want him charged.”
Jung Jun Young’s management company Makeus Entertainment stated, “He’s currently abroad. When he returns we will confirm with him.”

Only a few articles are online and they are hard to find and in an foreign language. There's a very good chance the CEO burried most articles in Japan and stuff. Considering he runs a large entertainment company, he probably has a lot of influence and since she's not big internationally, this probably wasn't picked up.
Also from what I've seen from Asian media in general. If the person in question is pretty or talanted they quickly forgive them for whatever they've done. Since she became popular due to her appearance in the first place, they probably talked about this issue a week and then forgot it and moved on.
At that point, what do you even do, your husband is in an affair with a 16 year old, and likes her more than you..
Nothing you can do really and if I were the wife I wouldn't want a guy like that as my husband anyways. Not to say that the husband is solely to be blamed, wouldn't be surprised if the girl went after him because he's the CEO. He's been backing and funding her acting career, she wouldn't have a career if it wasn't for him, so there's that.
The funniest thing I find about this situation is that Imada Mio's image was "Innocent and clean girl" before all this came out. Meanwhile she out there fucking her married company CEO since she was 16 years old lmfao. She will probably still have a decent acting career since the CEO is fully backing her with his money.

Literally all he does was lie and lie and lie, be a hypocrite once he got the same back and talk as if the Grace dead boyfriend never loved her when he did. Like how the fuck are you going to lie about him, like he never loved her when he made a wedding dress for her and wanted to propose.
They did the original work justice. It was a great adaptation, kept the spirit of the original intact. Didn't think they'd be able to pull it off, but they proved me wrong. Great job!

First 2 episodes have been pretty good. I'm wondering how they'll wrap everything with only 8 episodes to work with. Patiently waiting for new subtitles :)
After seeing episode 1 and 2, I got a feeling this will be a very cliche filled show which will run out of actual plot in like 6 episodes. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems to be pretty low budget so I'm not expecting much.
They're going to play Husband and Wife (They're married irl) after she cheated on you with a 11 year younger dude who happened to be one of your good friends at the time. Why would he do this? Surely this will be very awkward and weird. Good luck dude, you will need it.
This is adapting a real classic. It'll be hard to live up to the source material, but I hope it atleast does it justice...fingers crossed. If it turns out well, this could be a really good one.

I'll be honest, I absolutely loved the first 1/2 of the show, I was hooked and couldn't wait till I more episodes came out.
But..... I felt a lot of storylines were finished sloppy with some even being unnecessary. I even felt that the acting which was absolutely top notch in the beginning..... fell of towards the end. And the ending felt rushed to me and just not done that well. This was on pace to be one of the best shows I'd seen so far, but ended as just an above-average show. I mean that's still good, but I expected much more and it had the potential.
Still think it's definetly worth a watch, but it's not the masterpiece some people are calling it.
