Lately my parents inevitable death has been on mind near 24/7. An unease about the fact that I will experience a life without them, especially my mother. It's like a switch went off in my head realising that I need to not take for granted that they are here. It's made me change my life in ways, I go much more often to my parents, I'm planning a vacation to take my mom to Turkey, a car road trip with my dad. Moreover I realized that I barely have any pictures or video's of me and my parents together aside from when I was a kid. So lately I have been documenting our memories together so perhaps one day I can look back on it when I need comfort.
Who knows, maybe I'll still end up with certain regrets, but I don't want to do nothing. While I pray my parents life to a healthy 100+, I know it's unrealstic and many people their age die every day. I just hope there's enough time left for me to spend with them.
The manhwa this is based on is one of my favorites all time. I do wonder how many episodes it ll be and how they plan on adapting. They are obviously gonna have to cut out big parts and restructure the story a lot as there's no way it fits in a standard 16 episodes.

I mean I can understand going overboard to guarantee her getting hired, but how do you not even make sure that her credentials are faked properly?? 1 phone call to check and she's found out as a fraud? How did they not put her in the system or have any backup? If she didnt overhear she couldnt even call the lawyer for him to fake the phone call lmfao. This a billionaire chairman and they cant even plan for the most basic contigency, its hilariously bad.
1st 2 episodes were promising but episode 3&4 kinda threw away that promise. So you telling me the chairman has been planning revenge for a decade+ and his plan was to hire a rando bodyguard entrust her with his will and then they didnt even like manage basic things like fake her records? 1 phone call and she's found out? Like I can suspense my belief, but this plan was literally trash from the start and rife with plot holes.
12 episodes is nice most of the time. Unless the script is great, 16 episodes makes screenswriters insert tired…
Prime example is queen of tears, they had 16 episodes of legit 60 minute run time and by episode 10 they were running out of material and they just started introduciing the most cliche tropes and bs to extend the story. I'll take a coherent written 12 episodes over 16 extended ones every day of the week.
One of the most rushed endings ever, numerous plotlines that were just abandoned and didn't lead to anything and so much time wasted on unnessary shit only to not finish anything properly. There's literally nothing redeemable about the female character (prosecuter), I can already tell where the story will go and they'll "redeem" her in the end, but if it was anything realistic she would be treated the same as the "villains" and just chucked in prison by the end of the show lol.
