Wow, what a show.. Loved it. I didn't think I would like it this much... I was glued to it after ep3 and had to binge watch it. Anyway the chemistry between the main leads is simply awesome, it's like they're "made for each other". My favorite characters here is none other than Pak and Fon, they made this drama even more entertaining and not in a bit boring. Support casts are good.
This drama may not be for everyone since you'll have to have the heart to take all the things happens in this drama. Anyway I would definitely recommend this to all.
Decent.... but I had to force myself to watch this. It was cheesy romance and not to my liking. I liked ML in the beginning for his unique character but lost my interest as he just turned out to be normal person chasing after FL like normal guys. I don't know I was hoping for this to be different than the rest. Maybe the execution was not done right. I did managed to finish it but I found myself fast forwarding quite a lot. Probably this drama was not for me. I will recommend this for anyone looking for normal romantic comedy.

The plot was nice and unique but the execution was too terrible... The acting is the worst part. Both ML and FL were having hard time playing the roles. It's just too cheesy.. They did improved throughout the drama but it was still not enough to make up for the cheesy acting in the beginning.
Many people might find this funny, but i do not like the fact FL made ML (Ki) a scapegoat in front of the aunt. Saying that Moji is Ki's daughter and he's irresponsible rather than someone else. She says ML left her after having one night stand... She's getting paid but also lying about ML which is shameful.
The plot is ridiculous at times... she took care of ML (Ji)'s child for him (for money of course) for years and she never fell for him even once? This is the most crazy part of this entire drama.
The thing that's disturbing is how FL is bent on crazy about money, I feel like she would do anything as long as she's given the right amount. The way she agrees to do anything for money kind of feels cheap.
What more bothers me is the child's character. she's just there as role. she doesn't do anything, no dialogue's for her... she's just there as an object for moving from here to there.
Ending is fine.
Anyway, for what it's worth... it was a so so drama... I don't know if I enjoyed it or not. I just finished and I'm like what the hell did I just watch...?

ML's ex-wife is weird... I don't know if I got the story correctly... The reason she didn't tell ML about his son was because ML agreed for abortion. As I saw in the background scene... ex-wife tells ML "if you love me then give me freedom", then ML signs abortion papers, now she's sad because ML signed them? WTF? Of course ML loves her which is why he signed the papers... Now all of a sudden she signs divorce papers.. This is so weird... either something is wrong with subtitle translation or this is simply crazy.
Also I do not understand what ML did to make ex-wife this mad so she goes as far as saying to the child that his father is dead... Something is definitely wrong here. She separated him from ML for 8 years... I don't understand what's going through ex-wife's head anymore. She's simply beyond my understanding.
And later on she expects him to accept her again? Anyway I'm so glad she behaved like a normal person and didn't obsess over ML. I respect her for that.

The chemistry between the leads was so so in the earlier episodes but they improved a lot in the later half. Loved all the support casts..

I attempted this drama quite a while back but dropped it after 2 episodes... This drama is basically the struggle of FL trying to adjust in a Japanese family. The whole family tortures her to the point it's unbearable to watch.
FL desperately tries to win the heart of each family member only to be insulted every time. So like the comment below says, if you're into innocent woman being harassed/insulted then be my guest and watch it.

Ep5: I will be honest here... This drama has been certainly entertaining so far, but on the downside FL's scenes are downright frustrating.. I feel like the actress is having hard time doing this...
The real casts of this drama are the kids, pitaro and hinata.. they're making up for the main leads weird chemistry.
The kids have more romantic story than the main leads... and what a solid performance by both of them especially hinata. Those two kids are the true well wishers of this drama... They saved this drama from being a disappointment. I'm so glad I watched this.
Even at the end, FL was ready to leave for NY, if it wasn't for her fiancé, she might've gone already without looking twice. Now I don't know if she did that to fulfill her own greed, or the excuse that she won't leave her work unfinished. But her character appears to be a gold digger that's for sure.
Ending is fine but could've been better. I'm confused whether they really married on spot or was that just for show! I would definitely recommend this drama as it's very heart warming. 5.5/10

This drama has too many side characters to follow through, each with their own story... It's a typical drama with life troubles, but I love their bond and care for each other even through they're not related..
ML somehow fell for FL too quickly... What does FL has which the SFL doesn't? This alone just feels like scripted and artificial... They could've made it appear that ML at the beginning couldn't forget his old wife or his partial feelings towards his daughter's mother... He has to think these things before choosing to love someone new. This element was missing from this drama.. It was getting interesting but why ML has to fall in love with FL so easily?
Also the kid (ML's daughter) disappears from the second half of the drama... And has little to no screen time at all.
FL is really something else... how can she lie about marrying ML in front of byeol's friends at school...? In the previous screen, she just agreed to SFL's demands not to stir ML's feelings now she's doing the opposite. Even as a joke this is too much.. Also how can byeol say that FL will marry her dad, she used to say she won't let anyone marry her dad... just moments before. I know this is supposed to happen sooner or later, but do they have to make it that obvious?
I understand SFL somewhat. She waited more than 10 years to be with ML now if ML is being stolen again by FL, she still took things calmly than I anticipated...
When ML confessed his feelings to FL, she said she's not ready yet... then ML says he will wait... Now I wish FL should've said "you're wasting your time on me"... same as how ML said this to SFL. Why so much partiality?
SFL is really pitiful. At at times like these, I wish the ML could marry them both.
The second half of the drama is all about ML's identity.
The only thing I feel bad about is the FL's first husband, he didn't do anything wrong... not only he lost his loving wife, he also lost his life... It is still not made clear, why in the world second mother in law hid FL's first husband, her reason was not enough.
It was quite a surprise to me, I didn't think they would bring FL's husband back. Now both of them love FL dearly. They could've chosen to not kill him and just agree for a divorce.
I was hoping for the father (FL's father in law) to turn himself in out of guilt for his son, but he really is something...
Aside from all mumbo jumbo, I thought this drama would be about single father's romance with FL, but it turned out to be something completely different.. The second half of the drama is all about ML's identity, etc... and the revenge planning of the second wife. The drama focused too much on other things.. I didn't think this drama would be so fun to watch... The main leads are so funny and has an astounding chemistry together.. Their dance together at ep22 gets me every time..
After so many episodes it was really worth the wait to see main leads together... episode 30 is truly worth it.
Let's talk about some issues... in earlier episodes. I don't know who to blame in this drama... seems to be everything is all over the place.. ML says his marriage is 10 years old and there can't be any misunderstandings then what the hell is happening?
First I thought, the wife loved ML too much that she don't want to see him in pain when she goes, so she's making him hate her, quite the idea...! But why is she keeping him from seeing his son..? Does that make any sense.. She loves him yet can't give him the custody?
The kid... OK, ML's kid is absolutely annoying... I understand from his point of view that some woman is living with his father, and he ultimately wants the dad to be with his mom, still it doesn't justify his actions against FL. The fact he blames FL for so many things he does to himself is very sad even if he's a child. Ex-wife could've told him to be respectful towards others even as gesture, his attitude remains to be questionable. A step mom can never replace a real mom, but you've no right to hurt their feelings either.
Hats off to the FL for having such tolerance towards this kid and keeping her cool.
There's only one worry with long dramas, they usually don't have script for the last set of episodes and this one suffers from the same fate.
After episode 35, it seemed like they just want to drag the drama to stretch till last episode with nothing to back it up and somehow came up with main leads misunderstandings...
The ex-wife... Her wish is really something... I won't call it beautiful since it's just selfish of her. (I feel like I saw a drama with similar story in the past...)
Again I must commend the tolerance of FL. Even if the situation is that dire, in a normal circumstances you can't just marry your ex-wife for showcase and tell the current girlfriend to understand...! It's just too improper. I don't know, this one is quite difficult decision...
Also there's a lesson to be learned from this drama... Qin Zhen maybe selfish and greedy but she really said a wise thing at the end.
A man must find balance between work life and home life.. He must not forget who he's working for.
The ending.. They had 43 episodes, 45 min each, 1935 min total and yet they failed to show main lead's wedding... such a disappointment.. Not to mention, where is the kid now? I would've been satisfied with current ending if the drama had less episodes... but they had all the time in the world yet no wedding...
