Ending is bittersweet... TBH, it makes no sense, one minute they are both running to meet each other and that's it! Just few more minutes and it could've been the opposite. They wasted so much time on recaps and credits.. Yet they couldn't include a minute more to make them meet or hug each other...? Such a teaser!
Actually i dont understand ep 31 how FL and ML are alive?
I never thought they could utilize the split thing here as well. So she used the seed to somehow split herself into two, extracting the power which was killing her? And i suppose that's how the younger child came to be. Si Teng also removed her memories. Whatever the ending may be, this drama is still worth every minute.

Like all other dramas, some parts remain unexplained or just lost in translation...
First of all i don't understand the meaning behind all that drama with Yan Fu and Wang Qian, when Si Tend does some magic on Yan Fu for him to see Wang Qian as herself.
But what i don't understand is why that magic is only restricted to Yan Fu? Wouldn't that make the whole thing pointless if others are able to tell that Wang Qian is wearing a woman's clothing? Not to mention Bai Ying herself. This is so weird. Like a huge plot hole.
There were times when i found the middle episodes boring.. and male clan were so idiots in the beginning, so easily manipulated by Red Umbrella.. They couldn't even tell she was another alien..
There are so many things and i can't seem to remember them all, but the ending itself is weird... I understand episode 30 ending is official where both are turned to rattan i guess and together. It's the episode where they kept transferring their powers to each other for them to survive...
But episode 31 is way weirder..
ML transferred his powers to Little Si Teng so that she could be saved from her death and relive as a human with normal parents this time... but in episode 31, ML didn't transfer his power to Little Si Teng and yet she's somehow still alive? Wait for it... Even more weirder is, that Little Si Teng (now grown up) finds her way back to ML after 15 years only to find her lookalike original Si Teng good as new already living with ML... I have no clue what happened...! They didn't bother explaining who is who.. why did Little Si Teng's face changed when she looked herself in the water?
Episode 31 is beyond me.. I don't know how to feel about this episode.
Anyway aside from all that, this drama is good and i loved it aside from Episode 31 which i still can't seem to explain.

Just gave this a rewatch, and it was worth it again...Loved the chemistry between the leads, and the story was good too.. The way FL acts around ML and the way she always tried to protect ML is so so cute. Their chemistry is on an entirely different level. I would really like to see these two together again in future.. What a series... It was so messed up since the beginning.. What i was expecting to find here was close to none in the beginning. There were moments when i wanted to smash my head on the wall, this is the type of frustration this drama gave me... Anyway...
I really didn't like Kim Se Young in the beginning... Throughout the drama, she's trying to justify her actions of cheating with Seo Young Hee's husband... and not admitting her affair. It really took a long time for her to develop as a person and become someone decent to rely on.
What's more weird is Seo Young Hee not giving divorce to her husband for some reason.. I am trying to understand how she feels, but it's life and it goes on, she should've moved on by divorcing him instead of torturing herself with self isolation & continuous humiliation.
If we're to talk about FL, i don't know about you guys, this is just my personal opinion but i can't seem to like her... Maybe because whichever drama i have seen her in, she's either playing negative role or some unlikable character... Here she's playing the innocent girl in this drama, but i hardly feel like she's that innocent.. Her acting here just looks acting and it didn't feel natural... I genuinely wish someone else could play this role.. FL is half the reason why i was skipping a lot in this drama. Not that i hate the actress, it's just that she's better suited for other roles.
Besides all the ridicules things this drama has to offer, the only comforting thing here is the mother-daughter relationship between FL and Seo Young Hee and Kim Se Young's mom and Seo Young Hee.
The ending is overall good but i would've preferred it more if Kim Se Young does donates organ to FL, this could've made things more mature and compact with all things now even between the two parties, since Kim Se Young took her husband but she also saved Seo Young Hee's daughter in law FL.
If they had to fix FL's organ in the ending, there was no need for making this hype for organ transplant since the beginning.. Feels like a waste of time to me.
Anyway this drama this ok for watching it once... Please judge this drama yourself... I may've two thoughts about this but this drama does have lots of warm moments. And they are worth every minute...

I really don't like they are all taking advantage of him and not letting him do his work. They hired him to do all their house work, instead of working themselves.
TBH, i would've preferred if there was no romance in this. It feels like an unnecessary thing, i like romance which is natural, but here it feels like forced...

Acting is not that great... FL is specially not up to the mark, feels like her debut work than anything. ML is fine so as the other SFL's.
There's just not enough reason for ML to attempt suicide just because the person he didn't give out loan to commits the same... He was a happy person with great job in Bank, there's simply not enough reason for him to do it... He didn't approve the loan because of the bank rules, the one should be responsible is the bank not it's employee. ML is not mentally weak person to attempt suicide just because of this.
If something like this happens in real life, there would be suicides from every bank out there...
The old man is quite annoying... he's forcing main leads to be couple.. to much to the point of obsession.
