Just gave this a rewatch... It's been years since i watched it last and it's still one of the best drama till date.
Really Loved FL's way of speaking and her chemistry with ML is also good.
The drama is a bit unrealistic at some points but the leads are already making up for it... I wish they cut it short to 16 episodes... It feels like they dragged it a bit for no valid reason. But what can i say, it's already so well made.
TBH the drama does have it's flaws (which i didn't noticed before) but i just loved main leads chemistry so much that i am forgetting all other things...
Overall it's a great show.. Would definitely watch it again..
Decent drama... It was not in my watch list due to various reasons... I decided to give it a chance due to Main…
The FL is quite a hateful character. So far i only watched her drama's where she's good natured but this one is different. Although her acting is good but still felt like it was somewhat lacking in the later episodes. If you're a fan of Kim Hee Sun, watch at your own risk! The bad guys are winning too many times and won't give up until the final episode.
I think the FL was a gold digger in this drama... She only approached him for his money. Although after loosing him she does realize she truly loves him later on.
And they dragged the drama too much to the point it felt like a pain to continue... This drama is the definition of... "How to make a boring body swap drama."
Probably the most likable character in this drama is that detective guy, he kept things interesting for me to watch on. Otherwise i might've dropped this way earlier. I also feel bad for him since he liked FL and always came to help her whenever she needed him, even in the final episode.
Decent drama... It was not in my watch list due to various reasons... I decided to give it a chance due to Main leads and i don't know what to say.. There are so many plot errors beyond reasons.. Anyway I guess it's ok for watching it once.
Just gave this a rewatch... and it's worth every minute... Hoo Ja and 5th sister are my favorite characters so…
I feel bad for FL's brother, he sacrificed a lot for his sister and didn't get much recognition for it.
Also I feel terrible for Hoo Ja in the ending, she and ML could've remained as friends at the ending if not enemies... I was hoping if ML and FL do separate for some reason, Hoo Ja might be excellent as ML's love interest... but you know spark between couples? It just wasn't there in their main lead's case. It felt like awkward forced chemistry.
At one point in the drama, I was actually shipping Hoo Jaa with ML, but judging her personality, I hardly doubt it's possible.
She does feels something for him ( just not in romantic way) as she left him alive even after what ML did to her father.
Just gave this a rewatch... and it's worth every minute... Hoo Ja and 5th sister are my favorite characters so far, they kept the drama on interesting pace. At one point i was actually shipping Hoo Ja with ML because they have great chemistry together.. I just loved her bossy attitude and way of speaking.. It was something else indeed.... It was just so natural. And the rest of the characters were also good.
A really great drama.. I am amazed at the fact how well planned this drama is.. It was confusing for a bit but…
The ending is confusing to me.. When FL calls the future ML (at 10:33 pm), how come her call is connected to the present ML beside her? Also when she dials his number, it says ML's name instead of "My Daughter" which was always shown earlier.
And where is FL in the future timeline? If she's alive (I'm sure she is since her past self is OK now) she must have gotten her past memories as well like other people.. It would've been nice to see her interaction with future ML as well..
Unless the timelines are merged in the ending which i am not too sure of..
Romance between the main leads would've been a bonus but i am glad it turned out great. There are hints that they care for each other and that's all you're going to get in this drama. There are also hints of them getting together in future at the ending... (if i assumed right they were hints). Overall it's a great drama.
A really great drama.. I am amazed at the fact how well planned this drama is.. It was confusing for a bit but well worth the time.. Superb chemistry between the leads both past and present... I was glued to it since the first episode ending and couldn't rest until i finished it all.
Well, decent drama... Quite a fun ride watching this...The ML is quite stiff in his role... But there were other…
I have noticed plenty things about this drama which does not make any sense... And going to talk about them. They are as follows:---
This drama is about a legendary secret agent with sort of family tie, that's what i thought, but it's far from it..
I wanted to write a long list of spoilers but let's just keep it short.
I stopped counting the mistakes after episode 25-26, i had enough. This drama is more like kids playing agent-agent. What's more funny is that there's no comedy tag and all i see is comedy... Every episode is basically built on top of comedy.
As a legendary agent, how come he has no backup weapon(even a knife would've been fine) when infiltrating someone's house as a networking engineer?
And lastly, when the villains activated the pen tracker, there was light blinking in it... One could tell it was more than a pen.
This drama is basically a spy thriller without any logic behind it.
It could've been my favorite if they did it properly in terms of action and spy.... The plot execution was terrible. The story had the potential but it was filled with nonsense.
Nevertheless and aside from all this drama offers as a spy action thriller, this is actually a great family Rom-Com drama. And I loved the parts where the main leads with kids were together. They had great chemistry. And all the members of KIS were something else... They never bored me and it was quite the fun to see them work their magic. That's how I was able to sit through this one.
Well, decent drama... Quite a fun ride watching this... The ML is quite stiff in his role... But there were other things that kept me going despite it's flaws... And when i say flaws... i have got plenty to say about this one... This was not how i expected this drama to be. The description never states it's gonna be a Comedy show as a main theme. Action, mystery, thriller, all of these are secondary.
I guess it's ok to watch this show for anyone looking for good Comedy drama. Just don't believe the description above. It's not even close to what's written there.
Overall a great drama... Just wished someone else could play the FL. I really liked Park Ha Na's acting as Yoon Ma Ri, and Park Han Byul just couldn't bring out the same expressions and emotions as Park Ha Na did. The plot is refreshing and similar to the drama leading Nam Sang Mi...
Only regret is that they changed FL. It would've been a treat if they kept Park Ha Na in the later part, or changed the story to make her face go back to how it was. Aside from that, this show is genuinely good. Specially Ryu Soo Young's acting... That is some solid performance you don't see everyday.
Well, i tried watching this and on episode 4 i noticed the ML is still like an expressionless Robot... He should at least be scared or surprised or happy or cry when situation calls it but there was none... What happened to him...? Felt like seeing a completely different man who leads "Whisper" and "On the way to the Airport". Not sure if it's the script or his acting skills are just too good...
I really tried to take interest in it but unfortunately i failed to do the same.. I guess it's not for me. Couldn't go past EP4.
A really good drama... Beautifully made.... Absolutely adored it. The title "Lies of Lies" is really not suitable...It…
In the beginning, Many times i was confused whether the FL was pretending to be nice to ML or she's just nice or she's planning ahead.. I am impressed, what an actress... and what a performance. It's hard to predict what's going to happen.
It only happens in drama, when she's telling the ML , SML is like a younger brother to her, and the timings is so great that he happens to hear it..
But on the other hand, if she forgets her daughter, she may have a chance to live her life happily with the SML somewhere far. I feel bad for him though, he really chose bad timing to look for her. Had he be a little bit sooner in finding her, she might've chosen to go with him then. He is unexpectedly caring... he wasn't obsessive of her and finds his happiness in FL's happiness and helps her in need. What a guy...!
I am really having hard time not to hate the chairwoman... How can she make her own daughter in law the culprit over such a simple lie... The FL obviously did that to protect the baby from her abusive husband... and leave quietly. But judging by what chairwoman went through in the ending, i think she is mentally sick and needs treatment more than anything. Lee Il Hwa is giving such a solid performance...
Although the drama's title is "Lie after Lie", i liked how the FL does everything with strong personality and pure honesty.
The ending was difficult to watch, they kept us on our toes till the end, I thought she didn't make it. Thank god... she did. What was that about? Does that even make any sense? Isn't it normal go there together as a family? Why did she decided to leave before them and give us a misunderstanding?
Those Behind the scenes after the ending were such a bonus pack and i really needed those to cheer me out.
Main lead's chemistry was good... so as the cinematography and OST and it well matched the scene..
The ending is definitely good... but i think it could've been a extended a bit.
Decent drama... well this was an odd one for me. I tried to like it.. But it felt boring in the middle. I was…
The plot was somewhat ok but the execution was too terrible. The sequence of things were messed up.
I loved the first 2 episodes then it goes downhill from there. It felt like the writer was not up to it anymore.
In the episode 6, i don't believe but FL was actually going to push ML in front of the knife, but she trips on her own by mistake... I feel bad, she might actually kill him if that benefits her.
In episode 9 and so far i haven't seen her lying, cheating, stealing and destroying innocent lives that much... except for the first case they handle... unless i skipped a bit too much. I feel like they overstated these things. Also i think Jung Ryeo Won was not the right choice for this character.
I find the ML is like a senior and FL is junior the way she acts... I don't know about you guys but i didn't see any good chemistry between the two. It felt rather awkward.
This drama is more of a comedy, i couldn't sense the feel of seriousness of the situation. I feel like i already know what's going happen before it does happen.
The OST is not much to brag about except the music when FL's character does something..
Anyway, with all it's flaws, i guess it ok to give it a shot once..
Decent drama... well this was an odd one for me. I tried to like it.. But it felt boring in the middle. I was forcing myself to watch it and couldn't really understand much of it. I guess this was not cup of my tea.
Well, decent drama... good casting... Great OST. Excellent chemistry between the leads.. Old and Young both..…
Turns out it's sort of drama remake of Hollywood movie called "17 Again" which explains the plot holes..
It's weird why can't people seem to know the difference when he made phone calls to his children or wife.. A teen boy's voice is a lot different than a grown man's..
That kiss... i don't believe it actually happened...? I was hoping they would switch the ML back to his adult body before proceeding with it but dang....
Although i like watching older woman younger male type dramas, but i wasn't expecting one in this. It feels kinda weird... He's not just younger but a high school student before all that. FL's son is probably the same age as the younger ML.
Just because Younger ML is her husband, is it OK to go on a date with him? He's still in a teenage body, it feels very awkward... Just wasn't expecting such thing from this drama.. It's surprising me on many levels. Anyhow, Lee Do Hyun really performed great in his role as a father and husband.
I wish the kids knew Woo-young was their father and was with them the whole time. If they had to make too many things beyond logic then this could've been added as well.
TBH...probably for the first time ever i was shipping the SML(second male lead) with FL.
I really don't like how it's all been decided from the beginning who they (FL and daughter) are gonna end up with. Feels like a waste of character, i feel bad for Wi Ha Joon and Hwang In Yeop's characters. They deserve better.
Although the drama ended on a good note with great ending, i feel there remains a lot to be explored.
Well, decent drama... good casting... Great OST. Excellent chemistry between the leads.. Old and Young both.. I watched this drama for main leads only.. And was worth it.
What an absolute ride... How to remake a drama with less episodes efficiently. I am impressed.Loved every minute…
In terms of comedy, the Korean version definitely has upper hand. Since i watched the Korean version first, the Japanese version was looking quite fast paced for me. Some things in Japanese version is better handled compared to Korean counterpart and vice-versa... Same goes for the endings... to make up for the lack of episodes they had to make changes... The Korean version is a bit draggy in the middle and going nowhere. And this one is just spot on good and done beautifully without any drag.
Ending is good in both dramas, but i liked the Korean version bit better for the extra details. Anyway it depends from person to person, i just loved both dramas... It was be a wonderful ride watching these..
