What an absolute ride... How to remake a drama with less episodes efficiently. I am impressed. Loved every minute of it.. I just watched original Familiar Wife and ended up watching this one back to back.. Although this is more fast paced due to shortage of episodes but it also lacks the depth and details the original version had. But nevertheless i loved this one as much as the original. That was really cleaver what they did in the ending... This one also deserves no less than 9/10, for excellent chemistry, OST, visuals... etc...

I was really shipping ML with Hye-Won at some point but after seeing how she treats his parents and sister, i changed my mind. Still I was hoping for her character to have a change of heart by the end of the show but it never happened or should i say they never focused on her life that much for us to know.
It definitely could've been more interesting if he had a child with Hye-Won as well. But i guess that would make things more complicated.
I feel somewhat bad for Hye-Won, i know how she is but i think she can also be good sometimes. She did love ML afterall.

Let me start by casts... the FL is ok but i don't know if it's due to the written character but i find the ML a bit too childish. He did improve throughout the drama but i just couldn't seem to feel his acting... even in the last episode. His chemistry with FL however was good... They seemed to be in sync and well performed.
The plot is too huge and the writer don't know how to end it properly. Like other dramas, it started out good but lost somewhere in the middle. My head hurts jumping from 20 years of memory and back and forth. There're just too many details. First of all, let's just think realistically, if a guys with such powers do appears, i think he/she's gonna be heavily experimented on to know the source of their power, and find a way to weaponize them rather than making them a national asset. OK even if they make them national asset, should he be doing dangerous stuff like that? He's supposed to be the only man on the planet with such kind of power.
They missed out the most detail like why his sister waited for like 20 years to fulfill her revenge? I get that she was with NIS but even so 20 years is a really long time. It's just fishy.

The plot is just too dark. This might not be a spoiler but plots like these usually don't have happy ending. Starting off, i feel bad for Kim Sung Oh's character. He's the perfect example of body without brains, the red haired girl tried to protect him till the end yet he didn't care for her that much.. He's should've left all this the moment she died to honor her last wish. For MC's sake he was being kept alive again and again with his every encounter with ML. And ML also has no trouble killing other people but somehow he can't seem to kill him no matter what he does for the sake of plot.
FL just leaves her baby to someone like it's your average human baby. How is it that the baby didn't show her powers when being with someone else? I have more things to say about the FL but let's just leave it at that.

Just watched it for the 3rd time. Loved it. The ratings for this show are understandable. People thought it was Romance and Melodrama. Somehow by mistake someone put this drama under these two genre. Romance and this drama has no relation.. far from it. There may've been slight hints but that's all. And to call it Melodrama is a joke itself.
To even begin to understand this drama you need knowledge of Accounts and Business Administration, because that's all this drama is about. I don't know why i liked this enough to watch it 3 times already. I don't know much about business, but i loved seeing ML doing what he was doing after his memory loss and people getting surprised.

I know the FL has to die but i wish they had given us a reason different than "her daughter seeing ghosts". Is that for real? Seems quite ridicules to me. We have drama's with such theme where ML can see ghosts and help others, just because her daughter has the gift (yes I'm calling it a gift), she wants to die again? That is so non sense. She's small but later on she can learn to live with it as she grows.. I know FL has to die one way or another, but i can't accept she died for this reason alone. Which is so stupid! The ending is as expected.

Well, just out of curiosity watched the first episode. This is my first time watching Lee Da Hee in such role. Feels kinda weird TBH.. The ML lacks so many dialogs. It takes a lot of effort to get him to speak. Other things that are quite pointless in this show, such as there was no need for the female ghost's helper to spy Yeo Wool (restaurant scene) on Seon Woo Hye's order when she can herself(in ghost form) do that. Due to this act alone, Yeo Wool was able to track him down to the hospital he worked at.
The other guy, FL's sister's boyfriend, he was willing to kill so many people just to save Yeo Wool?
The most ridicules of them all is the ML himself. For gods sake the ghost ML is acting like human, how can he be out of breath after running? On top of that What's the deal with the clothes? He changed his clothes after so long, shouldn't it be like an invisible person wearing them? How come the clothes disappear along with him?
In the ending, BTW i loved it... the ending, i was expecting the worst judging by the comments but the question still remains... How can he return? It makes no sense.. it's beyond me... According to Chae Won, his soul should've been vanished after he sacrificed himself to kill Seon Woo Hye.
The most important of them all they never bothered to explain how Jung Yeo Wool can see ML and touch him? I get that she's sensitive to spirits but it's not like she see every other soul or touch them. There was a special connection between the two. It feels like there was more to it than they let on.
One last thing to add, although there's no Romance tag, the ML and FL are obviously in for each other. I'm not sure how it's gonna turn out since he's a ghost and she's human.
