I was actually really really pleasantly surprised by this one! Wasn't expecting too much but this is one of the best mini-dramas I have ever seen. Fun and light watch, also I liked the ML (haven't seen him before but will definitely keep an eye out for his future works)
I really regret starting this drama, I'm 2/3 in and I really want to drop it (even though I dislike dropping dramas at the same time). This is one of the worst period storylines I have ever seen...so disappointed as I had higher expectations due to the male leads. Genre tags are totally wrong - to say comedy and romance...
I avoided My Little Happiness for a while because I didn't like the ML when he was the SML in Put Your Head on…
Can totally see what you are saying. I was the opposite, as I watched My Little Happiness first and was in love with the ML so much but then with Put Your Head on My Shoulder, I was totally surprised by his character as the SML.
Just finished this one, not the usual storyline that I go for but overall it was good. Will say that it did have some teary moments for me. Highlight is definitely the cast, great chemistry and played their roles so well.
Jung Ha In/Woo Tak is a new favorite of mine after this. He completely melted my heart - He's so perfect!
My Little Happiness is my fav (hands down best drama I've seen in the past few years).
Thank you for this article, "Healthy relationships" is one of my favorite tags. I have added several of them to my to-watch list! I am really interested in Chef Hua!
I would also suggest You Are So Sweet and Love O2O
Just finished this one, it started out great, I loved the first 2/3 of it but I was disappointed by the last 1/3. The cast is so good though - love the chemistry of the FL/ML and SFL/SML.
I love the simple cute romance stories, but was disappointed that this one was not for me. Cast was great but I didn't really enjoy the story. Highly suggest My Little Happiness (same FL and SML) - my favorite in the past 2 years .
I really enjoyed it! I was kind of expecting not to, but it definitely exceeded my expectations! I did watch it for Eun Woo (love him <3) but all the actors were really great (2nd male lead was stellar)! Good morals, good character developments, lots of funny scenes, also some crying scenes - enjoyable watch, I recommend it!
One of the best dramas I have watched in awhile! I would have liked there to be 16 episodes but it was a very enjoyable watch - lots of cute and funny moments, great chemistry between the actors!
I liked the main couple and the second couple - great base storyline, The ML had fantastic character development too. My main problem is how long it took for them to get together...
I am such a sucker for amnesia tbh. I know it's a super cheap trope but for some reason there's nothing more romantic…
I like the way you describe your reason for liking amnesia in the plot! Reading your thoughts I can definitely see how the moment when all the memories come back can be an awesome highlight - You make an excellent point! I think for the most part when amnesia runs over several episodes is when I start to struggle with it, also there was one drama I watched where there was a relapse in the amnesia so it hit twice in the drama and that was really hard too. But thanks for sharing, I love how you connect the end of amnesia with happy moments!
I watch more Cdramas than Kdramas because they tend to have more characteristics that I like (I like really sweet and simple stories) So my likes and dislikes are the same for both Cdramas and Kdramas:
I dislike: - love triangles and second lead syndrome (have had serious cases in several Kdramas) - when it takes way too long for ml and fl to get together - lack of communication between couples that take a long time to resolve - amnesia
I like: - height difference (I'm short so that might be a reason why!) - male chases female first - loving family - character development (both male and female) - loads of sweet scenes
Not one of my favorite dramas but the highlights for me: Loved the height difference and they ML & FL looked super cute together. I really liked the Dr. Li - very sweet and his smile is so warm
Jung Ha In/Woo Tak is a new favorite of mine after this. He completely melted my heart - He's so perfect!
