haha I do understand your point *o* I was also excited about Mizushima Hiro's interpretation of Sebastian XD and yeah I do liked it so much :P. and nyah I thought at least it would be good as Kenshin (damn they did that movie really outstanding! it's hard to point out good live action made after manga and anime, and Kenshin is great) so after watching this movie I really felt disappoint about all details..
and haha mfg I can't bring myself to watch that although I heard american version is comming out but I still can't my precious memories of Hana Yori Dango japanese and korean versions are too good to be tarnished with this ver :P XD but I wish you nice time enjoying it XD

yeah I totally understand you :/ as i also read Kuroshitsuji manga, and there every sentence had meaning, anime was created good by following manga at some points it was also exceptions , but this movie was totally out of any connection to Kuroshitsuji spirit.. it's a shame for me too about this movie :/
this movie didn't intend to be with some story plot nor character developement in the usual way you see in most of movies. it isn't some drama.it wasn't serious in direct way, it was more random! kind of movie in one way and is serious if you understand some notices from time to time of its perfect randomnes. it's just an usual life, parodied world of drama and writers like Shakespear or fans and also usual life emotions, clash of art-young days-relationships etc. and just enjoying carefree emotons, humor and crazy mix of all this (what I love the most in Japanese movies - they not say too much & not too less, and in the way that you need to mix brain for catching up the flow of story and feel it, instead of not just watch served out obvious things). that's why I said you didn't understand it at all nor you looked at life from another side to enjoy this movie. this was much simplier movie but much stronger *O* and also. why you want to complicate life? it's simple by itself, we are just making it complicated. that's what the movie also shows. why you need any other development than its little one already existing in the movie? just live simply add some crazy details to make it more interesting and go with good flow into your problems or dreams or ambitions etc.

I am talking not about things like fanservice etc I am talking about character! (his actions, behavior, temperament, emotions, talk, manners, speach, thinking). and the girl TOTALLY lacked most of that. she wasn't interesting and smart also dorky as Ciel, she was plain and boring. I like the actress but her Ciel version was awful and unatractive nor interesting. I am seeing as an fan other ways and yeah when Is aw trailer I really had high hopes about this movie also thought about changing chara and making parody of original ones. BUT this movie proved me just disappoint. it wasn't parody, it wasn't interesting it wasn't enticing, instead of making characters or like original from manga or different in some other way they made characters totally OUT of characters. It's like you say Frodo from Lord of the rings to become Goku from DBZ. maybe that would be more itneresting than this. plost was totally clishe borring acting was stupid and annoying. I only praise Mizushima for interpreting Sebastian most closely and Mizuki for acting as Rin she was good.
I gave this movie a chance but it was totally pointless disappointment. like I was seeing some stereothypical american show with pointless speach (the most thing which was going on my nerves was pointless sentences and scenes without any sense, and we know that in Kuroshitsuji every sentence have meaning be it something serious or just funny moments). the shows was lacking everything, even if I didn't know original Kuroshitsuji this would be still pretty badly done movie for me.

it's ok if girl can portray Ciel, but like many of us thought, she DIDN't portray Ciel at all. she was annoying and not interesting as Ciel. if you are fan of Kuroshitsuji it's a shame you can say you enjoyed the movie since it was total low produced piece of nothing. only a few actors gave some good impressions about movie.

this movie is NOTHING, pure ZERO comapred to Manga & Anime of Kuroshitsuji! honestly = total disappointing thing! T_T only good point is Mizushima Hiro and his acting!!!!! he was amazing <3 also Rin I was pleased ith her acting and portraying chara ~ others were nothing also speach and conversations were pure s*** it just hits me that it gives such an primitive american vibe of their historical supernatural pointless movies. and mfg WHAT THEY DID WITH UNDERTAKER??!!?!? serisouly?! the most cool character has been given to such an awful and ugly actor ?! x.x did they read manga at all? characters were totally out of their real ones, story was totally stupid like they have read just a parts from each 10th chapter and compiled it into one mess with changed ''obvious drama queen'' twists. ugh. I really expected much more :/ also music is nothing. compared to powerful OST from Kuroshitsuji Anime this is shame for me. :/

I think you really didn't understand the point of movie nor their acting nor the humor here. so this review is totally disappointing for me. This movie is from the rarely ones which have amazing combination of interesting humor and comedy twisting around the confusing connection between the characters and the story of movie. You need to see world wider and to see other aspects of life to judge this movie right. this review is done halfheartly like you watched this movie without understanding also.

oh my *,,,,* went on Kim Nam Gil's page to see new movies he acts in and I SEE THIS FREAKING AWESOMENESS!!! and I just finished watching last ep of One Piece and was feeling like watching something goooodly 'piratish' and ahhhhhh <3 waiting for this!!!
