Of course novel would be different and more ruthless. In drama rhey make them look hot but even that can save his character. As character I he will be doomed but I can unsee actor Deng Kai he is so mesmeeizing and acting is so damn good. Character is total lunitic... We wont like it as much if we dont like actors...Thats whole point we attracted to actors aura protraying those characters.
