This was an amazing journey. I cant believe what we witnessed. This is a drama how should be. This is the drama we ever wanted. No one second of boredom. Explained so nice whole story. I think this is first time I got all about story in some costume drama. All well explained.

An amazing coroner's journey

Wow what a ride! ❤️‍🔥❤️

This was unique drama who was so well done. From the actors, theme effect vibe, amazing OST and BGM. Actors deliver all just as should. This was really interesting experience which was worth the wait.

It was so emotional and wonderful. 💕

Last episodes were so intense and not just roller coaster but plot twist were so good. Even some usual tropes this time was not so predictable and were so good done. Camera angles were actually different but for me really interesting as the viewer. I watched some criminal USA investigation shows longer ago but didn't see this type of showing it in this way... Shoots inside victims or seeing how someone is wounded like it was real. I really didn't care about politics because I don't like it, or how some evidences wasn't logical maybe etc... I really didn't care because it was entertaining to me anyway. We got all in this one. Mystery, romance, emotions, shocking things... Drama was so good wrapped out. They really do good marketing before and after drama. Even lot of special BTS and even Variety Show. This drama is of course definitely on my most favorite costume drama list. I will remember this one for sure. 💘

Can't believe this is over after 5 months of waiting after MM. All comes and goes... ✨

This year AR shining definitely as LYN. This year dramas are so good! 💥

He portrayed his character in best way he know. There is no any wrong part in his acting or LL acting. Even they are tired and all and was hot till filming on screen all was perfect. I become fan of LL definitely with this one. She is such a beautiful girl. Her smile is so wonderful. AR too. Unusual pairing who turn out to be one of my favorites beside other my favs. 😍

Other actors were also amazing. I must point I am glad I saw lot of actors from MM and also seeing some actors I love from mini dramas I must admit I was so happy they got this opportunity even it was so small role. They will got even more recognition. Must point actor Liu Yi Hong who was in role of YQ. He do an amazing job. He was so cute guard Wei Xiao from TPOB. He now showed how versatile he is. And this role will definitely bring him more recognition. He was hideous here but his acting was outstanding. 🤩

Some says too much kisses for costume drama and royal trope. I say NO! This is what we love and want to see. And beside that this LOVE they have is something so rare in cdramas. But this year AR showed in MM and CD that real support, understanding and care can be even more wonderful than anything else.

Can't explain their cuteness. They give me some energy I cant explain and not in passion way but in a way what love really is about. It was PEACE. Because real true love is that. Peace..

Drama with no logic - Tragedy into Comedy

Finally finished it! 🤯

I had so much anxiety and impatience trough other half of this drama. I thinked I would be disappointed but drama actually came to be better from half.

Ending didnt disappointed its kind clear, but make me bit confused also. Basically can be OE, SE, HE. All is for your perspective. Production and script was so well done.

Music nailed in this one. LYN again show what he can do...LYT has her best role so far I am sure of it. I wish her all the best in future. He actually look even more beautiful in modern world so why not modern drama again together.

Third best costume drama for me this year. I think directors, scriptwriters and also music composers should see this and implement and boost quality of sound in future works because for me it gives half meaning to drama.

LYN voice acting and eyes acting is his best touch with all other expressions and quality. I can bet he can do even more better. There is no limits for him!

I want him in xianxia with Bai Lu. Their chemistry would be bombastic and kisses you can imagine...BTS would be so hilarious I dont doubt! Lets manifest together! 🙏

They really twisted our mind and go in all ways they could. I wish to see more drmas with comedy like this...I call it tragedy into comedy... And also drama with no logic...

But love and fate dont have logic on the end... ♥️

What I loved in last 6 eps...


35 - Fugui speaking to NH. Bad scene and talking about hairpin was so hilarious and on point for any costume cdrama. NR making SG jealous and wanted him to take action. Scriptwriter is actually scared of NH lol. His villainous aura makes him scared lol. He is scared even of his own character. SYT and SG that slap was personal.

NR - I am sorry I doubt this character. I am glad he wasn't evil.

36 - NH cant die!!! He is fighting for his SYM. SGH bastard, second lead, lunatic and psychopath character. Pfff... Good acting Wang! Wind is rising. I believe this will be reference like in MM was. SY, NH and SG working together yeah yeah yeah. Flash on the tape meaning bad things will happen...

37 - The second NH led his arm on emperors arm he forgive him. Sight and he let go... SG didn't let SYT had till battle... Whoever you choose he cant be worst than me... Oh SG... LYN again died as hero same pose as in AJTL. - Only by dying I can prove I am not fictional character! Heartbreaking! SYM uses his sword. Covering him with cloak make me cry so bad.

38 - All back in time. Loop! I knew it! She telling truth even NH cant believe he actually believe her. Again sad things happen. NH always wants to die first because don't want to see her die...

39 - NR also can see dejavu! Scriptwriter scream NH. NH is like bro shut up lmao! SYT want to cut SG hair was nice touch he loves his hair she knows it obviously... SYM preparing NH and put his cloak on. Sadness...

40 - Chaos! SYT and SG play music together. I wanted that actually. Song Hurry up hurry up is great for this scene. NR and Fugui cowboy music - HELL YEAH!

CGH didn't listen because original scriptwriter actually make him to be whole villain There was no turning back. Finally that screenwriter helped finally saw power of community and their souls seemed real....

I cant believe we waited and now is already over! Ohhh... I thanked I will be sadder but actually I am satisfied. I will miss them but will be okay. Go back when I want.

They never got formula for weapon forging...

To satisfy us they put all in this drama for sure, it was twisted, chaotic, chaos, etc. This drama was supposed to be like that... Fight choreography was amazing! Main villain died by his own hands as many died like that in cdramas... His destiny in his own hands. So let me be dead if I can have what I want...

NR scene with maid was so beautiful. About SG being pregnant was so cringe and funny. Looks like all know about script world by now and no one bothers. Even Song baba and emperor are lovely dovely with their wives because of script good behavior lmao! No one died except CGH... Ah what an tragedy lol!

Ending give a lot of answers, but post credit scene gives us much more questions. That portal tho!?

On the end my opinion is that NH is actually NF who also transmigrated with SYM to script world, but he forgot all, but when he was back he remember his experience. On the end it was also part of the script so doesn't matte because its HE but I want to know still...

✨ Unique story with nice CP and their peaceful mutual friendship in their love story ✨

Okay… Finally finished it... So here is my opinion. Who got it got it, who don't don't. Its okay...

I cried a couple of times in last eps. OMG I didn't thanked I will honestly... I finished last 7 eps in one take. They wrapped it up well. It didn’t feel rushed. Er Lan is beautiful in women’s clothes and makeup. Younger was beautiful too. The makeup was amazing. That little girl, Flower, looks so much like Zhou Ye, it’s insane. I was like, why this plot now? But they wrapped it up well with Younger and her love for flowers and the poison cure.

I am so pissed about how she died. So pissed she died in such a stupid way, and they let her go like that.

I knew the whole time Mr. Bei was him under the mask — I was just waiting for that heartbreaking part. CL did an amazing job in the last scene of episode 30. The pain and madness were so well done. Him with long, messy hair is the best — such a shame they didn’t show that look more often. Chu Ran is such a beauty, I don’t even have words for her. CL was great as Dan, but I definitely can imagine some another actors playing him with a darker, more intense script also as WY. I think he could do much more with this too, also more darker, but they just didn't, they make him more cute than mad. Couple times he was like mad tyrant. I love Ryan really I do! Now I like CR because it was first time watching her. Still, he was cute and did such a good job. Both of them did. 👏

Bo got what he deserved — he went crazy. That leg thing was unexpected. 👏
Poor little doctor will forever live in the illusion that Younger is alive. I don’t like it. He deserves to know the truth. Giving him false hope doesn’t sit right with me… 💔
The ending part, when they all look at her as she walks toward him and cries, had such beautiful emotions — it makes your heart flutter. ✨

I liked the ending book scene; it was beautiful. But what was that real-world ending? I just knew it would be short… but it was SO short. 😡 I wanted more. What’s the point of that kind of ending if they have a happy ending in the book? I don’t get it. Are they back immediately or what? 😵‍💫 Help, give me an explanation… I hate when they leave us to figure everything out. Did they die in the book as old people and then go back? Or immediately? They should have given us one special episode in the real world. How much times I must say in big dramas I wont forgive directors or scriptwriter fort this fast ending scenes. I even dont even care anymore. Maybe because of that I started to have less faith in bigger dramas from last half of a year. Maybe because of it my thinking of rating will be different this time.

Don’t blame me, but I must say I didn’t feel overwhelming passion — I felt chemistry and a lot of friendship chemistry. My heart didn’t flutter when they kissed, but I felt peace. It was that typical friends-to-lovers thing, which I love. It felt natural. For me, honestly, they felt like a true friendship couple — which isn’t bad at all. It’s actually really good, and I love that.

In the end, I want to say it was a nice drama. It had a bit of a boring political part — I watched some of it on 2x speed. I’ve started doing that more with big dramas because they can be slow and I want to save time. From halfway through, I felt like something was slightly missing — not in a bad way. Maybe I just wanted more, but that’s on me.

The last episodes were really great, and after the ending, I knew what rating I would give it. For the first time in a long time, I might give a drama 9.5 and not 10 — just because it feels right. Sometimes I give microdramas or mini dramas a 10 and then think, why did I rate this lower? But that’s just how it resonates with me. I can’t explain it. It’s not the script, not the acting, not the actors — I loved them. I just feel this rating is right from my point of view. If you ask me why, I can only say it’s my feeling and intuition telling me to rate it that way. I just know my consciousness after 3 years of watching cdramas is different and my taste became so picky or I just get bored because I now see how cdrama works. I need excitement more, not just quality. I need to something to make me think of it every day and cant wait to watch it as some dramas did. I didn't lost interest. I still watching just cdramas. Nothing else. But I cant deny I enjoyed. Its after so long I finally finished some big drama. Thats good enough for me. Definitely is 9.5 because of some things I would like to be different or better portrayed. Even tho. I recommend this unique story because it was lovely.
