Yes its true. Same for me too. I remember watching with my friends move Miracle in Cell No. 7 korean version and evreybody cried I dont. It was too hard that i frezzed like I cried from inside no tears. Then one or two years later we watched it again with other firends they dont cried I cryied like baby. That was so strange. I probably sensitive on so unusual things to cry. Or basicly it depends of some period I dont know. I have periods when I dont cry and some then I can cry on evry little thing.

That happened to me on friend wedding. I try to hold tears and just cry on one eye maybe that have something with that to hold to not to cry and then one eye will cry.
