Chennai Express you mean? I was a bit surprised. I do wonder if it's any good, will likely check it out one day, but not a priority. SRK movies are exactly those which can be a hit or a miss. Om shanti Om which was also highly grossed I believe, was a bit of a mess, and I couldn't finish watching it or maybe, which is more probable, I just didn't get the references. I don't tend to trust the numbers for these reasons, or the critics. What irritates me a little is that there is always at least ONE review in imdb which sounds like one from a given film's producers because it always has all these professionally sounding praises.Ohh an entire thread! Will do! Lovely idea! More reasons to be back on MDL more often :) Thanks MitParmar. You know, this is the beauty od MDL and people from all pver the world, they help to explore a much wider, wider world out there :)

Hi.Yes, I Watched it already. The creator of Metanoia should have created or at least co-created Sword Art Online!!! THEN Sword Art online would make some sense!! Seriously Bokami, it was an enjoyable movie :) I liked the outside scenes, especially when they were trying to teach Nico to play traditional games, so sweet they let him win aww. I think in the end this one has potential to be a series which could explore more of Cel's emotionless personality, but he would need a series for that. this is so much better than sword art online and clearly came about from a need of the heart. The characters felt real and the whole setting was real.
The Cat Lady looks dark, never heard of it before. haha yes the puzzles can get a little tricky sometimes. what's the game you finished?

Aww. Ill explore one of these days, I"m sure there are some gems hidden among movies from your country :D It's all right, I know what you mean. I will check it out, if it's subbed. I like to explore all the options and interacting with a storyline is a nice experience. The puzzles tend to be imaginative and fun in the point and click adventures. I don't think I played that many but I have played across most genres: when I was a kid my brother and I used to play doom /wolfenstein together. Then alone I explored the fantasy adventure genre and after that rpg-rpg maker and recently I've been exploring otome visual novels and there are some good ones there too, actually! I should probably try and add some to the imdb database so that I can show off what I have in mind..Exploration is part of the FUUUUN!!! :D
So Which point and clicks are your favourites?

Busy these days but anime watching going strong, though MAL has just been hacked so I returned to MDL for the moment. I had a mind to check those two out when I'm back in the mood, I even tried Orange Days but I I couldn't get into it. I did watch some overdone Bollywood movies, only on several occasions I found them to be too much for even me to bear. In general I have a pretty high tolerance level :) Especially when the language I hear is so lovely to the ears.
I was thinking that movies from 1970s and 80s or earlier may be interesting to explore. I think the earliest movie I currently have on my PTW is Mother India though I hear mother india was a remake of still earlier film. In the meantime, my recent watch is Dil chahta Hai, which I found to be a pleasant movie.

Actually I was going to check out some of the movies from the Philippines you rated highly on imdb as I've NEVER watched any so I don't know what to expect :) Amy top recommendations? I will let you know soon what I think of this. Yes, I used to play some point and click classic adventure games, is this relevant to the movie as well?

Hi TMK :) Mercurial is a lovely word :D How have you been? Enjoying anything stirring? Say, MitParmar, could I ask you what are your top recommendations for a comedy, thriller and drama from India? I've been watching some lately as i was in the mood for Bollywood and I got in the mindset in which I want to explore more of this. I still haven't seen lagaan, English Vinglish or Taare Zamen Par which I hear are good.

You can keep monitoring the site here: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/myanimelist.net.html actually, Winnie, it did happen to MDL at one point in 2011. Someone messed everything up, there is still a thread about it somewhere in the forums. I hope it will not repeat bit I think the culture on MDL is a bit higher than on MAL. Yeah, I love the fact they are three hours long it gives room for developments or for dance numbers lol :D I don't think any love triangle I've seen in Bollywood could be called intense. There is usually a girl. Girl meets boy she likes but family wants her to marry another. The another finds out she loves someone else and gives her up, showing nobility of spirit. And then the other smiles with the couple. But I know you dislike loive triangles, I was just saying I find them a bit different than elswhere. I"m glad you like Salaryman, it is a wacky story isn't it

Hi Winnie, yeah, MAL got hacked, unfortunately, apparently some bored teen retaliated for being banned after some misdemanour as far as I"ve read on animelist forums before the site went down. The hackers should get a life, sheesh. haha I like most of them too. I"m less enthusiastic about star Wars for some reason. Did you watch Princess Bride? I'm recently curious about what people think of that film.
Yeah, somehow, I was just saying to someone that I"m in the mood for Bollywood because I can relate to the sentiments it deals with. I just love how noble love triangles are in Bollywood: secondary leads give up on with dignity and understanding of the situation and show loyalty to friendship and duty. I just love that. Do you watch Bollywood at all?

most of the time bollywood flicks and films resonate with me on some level and especially now I seem to be in the mood for them. Hence I will not start anything with refreshing storyline until the sentimental mood is over :) There are some other less sentimental bollywood productions I ho[e to see soon too. But I do keep kazoku game in mind of course. And hanazawa really seems like an absorbing story so I have high hopes for it.

Yeah, Bollywood sort of captivates me at the moment as I am digging deeper and findins stories that perfectly suit my frame of mind. There are films which are lighter on music and more vested in the storyline, which I find refreshing, much as I love bollywood colourful music numbers. Except some of them are a bit too over the top, especially when they change backgrounds to some distant locations for no good reason jiust to enhance the mood. but all this is fairly innocent. I love bollywood for sentimental stories and truth be told no other country makes films which portray love triangle in such a noble way. Unlike korean dramas where secondaries are mostly miserable, in bollywood the secondary accepts the situation with understanding and by being understaing shows his loyaslty to friendship and duty. This really writes itself well into my onw herirachy of values that's why I find that

Love Rain is mostly sentimental melo. There is heaviness, yes, but that heaviness connects with some genuinely heartfelt feelings and a sense of longing for those feelings. Matters of love give raise to a conflict between father and son and I loved that part the most, there is lost love and love reunited. I mostly liked it because, just like the classic, it showed how fate brings people together and breaks them apart, the father and sone theme was lovely too, and father and mother actors had a really sad story going, but...fate works in mysterious ways. ;-)

Hi Bokami. I just came by to say hi :) It looks like myanimelist has really been DDoS-ed. Those kids who do that should just get a life, they are really reactionary (I read it's because they were banned that they are retailiating by hacking, what sort of immaturity is this?) Well, I managed to export my list before it happened, somehow I had a feeling it wouldn't end with turning off BBcode and things. Hopefully they will restore it soon.

Awww Yeona :D I like to read your comments too :) Really? is the drama that good? haha sounds like it is since you seems to want to spread the love of it with others, that's great! i heard Resurrection was very heavy on romance which brought the drama down, but let me know what you think. Well I am going through a difficult time right now actually bit that will just make me grow up more so I feel optimistic overall. September has started...ah I sometimes wish time could stop. I hope you're having a good week :)

ha! Eklund, we're the same with the sleeping. When on a break or drama addiction that's what happens to me. It's a matter of excercising strong will and resolve, though, but I still fail at that...:sigh:. I am fine myself, thank you, no not really, lately a little sparkl for dramas has been resurfacing again but I"m not quite there yet. Right now I;m in a bollywood mood and also looking for movies about outer space. Are you watching anything currently?
