Pirates of the carribean was a pretty neat flick, I did like it. I like the oldies. I try to watch movies from 1940s onwards. They have a lot of charm. From new ones I like slow, meditative and thoughtful movies, like my recent favourite, Lantana. Films like the remains of the day, lost in translation would also count among the most memorable movies for me. But I watch and like all sorts, it;s just that older movies have more charm for me.

I do hope you will manage to enjoy it in some way but just don;t expect a faster pace. here is a movie Love Rain coming. you may find that easier to watch than the drama. What else are you planning to watch or watching?

Well, to me there is little point in the movie. But it will likely market the drama more. I really don;t think Love Rain id your kind iof story. You liked the Classic, love rain modifies the Classic, but I think the Classic is eanough all in all. The reason I loved love rain was because of father-son storyline principally. I"m afraid the film may not do a good job out of conveying the same feelings the drama did, but that's just from someone who liked the slow pace of the drama and who wished it was cast differently and targeted to a different age group- it wouldn;t have been such a flop then, for sure because the story is very deeply sentimental and romantic all in all.

Well, you have to be a bit more open-minded about resemblances. They aren't on the surface, but are projected, at least to me, in the feelings. The drama modifies The Classic a lot, but it is discernible. The first three episodes were the best and most original I"ve seen, they are a story on its own right and I actually loved them the most. But I love slow paced and a story taking time to unfold. So good luck getting through it. The pace Doesn;t get any better at all. If anything it gets a bit more makjangy.

LOL that could work, though. I thought so, it must have been a pretty big experience for them too. oh yea AI was quite haunting for me too. Bicenntennial man was mostly just a good story. lol. yes it does sometimes it cab be a pain i know but ost of the time it's very colourful, a bit like classic musicals from USA

Hi Yeona. Yeah, even though acting's mediocre, it's the feeling it gives me that it decides. There is not a more romantic story that that to be found in the Classic and this one this a pretty nice job modifygin it. I think it only flopped because it was badly cast as a result of being tareted to the wrong age group. This kind of story can be appreciated by older people. Too bad about the castin. I think I will remove it after a while but still the feelings are in the drama. What...? NO no way! I don;t want the the younger actor to start a romance with her, whatever for?!

I liked Love Rain as it was (except for Jang Geum suk's so so acting, I loved his father more) and it already…
I'd take The Classic over Love Rain any day, but still love rain was really lovely, taking its time to develop the story and character entagnlements. This new movie is absolutely redundant for me and I am sceptical about it on the whole.

Hi. Nice to meet you. Thanks for your friend request.

I liked Love Rain as it was (except for Jang Geum suk's so so acting, I loved his father more) and it already was a sort of adaptation of the Classic. I don't see the point of making it into another version of the Classic. It worked as a series but I don't see it working as a movie. Ridiculous idea, but maybe may market the drama a bit more. The story itself is thoroughly beautiful, especially the father-son aspect. It takes its time, but the point in this drama lies in conveying beautiful emotions and a sense of destiny and how destiny works to bring people together and break them apart. ..and thank the creators that there are dramas and movies like that: stories with a heart, that take their time to convey feelings above all else. And that this heart doeasn't disappear even if acted out by mediocre actors like Jeung Geum Suk and that young lady.

Ah, i see. Then it;s probably going to be a mess.somehow when it comes to masala I think onyl some of them work, others are a big miss. But I loved Englidsh Vinglish, this is the kind of film that is relatable. The protagonist is so beautiful, so dignified and she takes matters in her own hands and instead if depsiaring she gives herself a new leash of self-confidence. Lovely story that makes me want to watch more. Oh I'm checking imdb all the time in fact I myself create thousands of lists there but I just think it's nice to get recommendation from someone who is knowledgeable about these things and who has an interesting and open-minded taste in movies/dramas. I do value your opinion highly, Tranquil..ah, sorry, Mercurial Knight :)

Hi Edina, well it sounds like it was probably a boring drama then. That's good to hear he's in good health :) Thanks, yes, I do quite love bollywood from time to time and i seem to be in a mood. Unfdortunately, it seems they aren't dealing with the attack very well. It's irritating a little.

Yes, the ost is very upbeat, especially the track that starts at 53 minute into the film. What I have problems getting used to are..the voices. It;s a lovely language but somehow the dubbers seemed to be shounting a little too much. I was checking some lists of recommendations, this is what they came up with: http://www.listal.com/list/50-greatest-filipino-films-all There is another filipino animation I am interested in; it's called
Libingan but it;s a 21 min short so I should probably catch it somewhere. oh but I noticed you seemed to like Bicenennial man- that movie seems a bit underrated to me, when it;s a pretty good odyssey to become human quest story. I think Baollywood is failry varied nowadays. I appreciate the colorful musicals but I do really like when a serious film from India turns out to be captivating. Vinglish is incredibly relatable. I will watch the others soon

Also, I watched English vinglish, one heck of a good bollywood/India movie! so relatable! The female character is just too lovely. I first noticed it on your lists, too. It's just so painful to see the main character struggle so much but it;s really something some of us do go through, the feeling aloenation in your own surroundings and that's because we sometimes don't love ourselves. Wonderful movie. This is why I love exploring- it leads to discoveries of wonderful gems. :)

The chaser was a good drama. I am waiting for sword and flower to be near complete to check it out. Well yes I am watching anime but now I got in the mood for bollywood so am watching bollywoood and some american/other movies. I think I'll return to some korean/japanese movies before I watch dramas again. Yeah, hopefully, it;s been a very difficult period for me, the last half a year, but hopefully things are going to clear up. Thanks Yeona. You take care too :)

i see ^^. Well, that is completely amazing! I think someone on imdb said that the film earnings didn't equalize the costs. Is the DVD available internationally? Couldn't find it on amazon. These guys need some support! The soundtrack is, I just checked on amazon (and the OSt was really lovely too, I want to know what's the song around the minute 53...)
