Well then have a little bit of good rest. Yes it is international at least we celebrate it in Poland :) Well there are still voice actors. And anime can be well drawn or badly drawn. some anime watch just as well as dramas, . it's just drawn. I would say and any drawn story can be as real aas a drama.I am working in between wahtching episodes of a sports anime.

I like detailed animation snd to be honest I will rarely watch if animation style is not to my taste, but I like the old animation styles. I only can't tolerate art where say eye irises are non-existent. But I don't know, the reviews on MAL also seemed to be a little hyped up when there is a favourote seiyuu voicing them. But overall I would agree they are based more on the story and the full package than on "eye candy". Though there seem to be some oboxious comments made anyway. Snobbish. Ir ecently saw a recommendation which was written clearly by some snob.

Oh I see. I hope it's nothing serious. I just finishied series 3 and started series 4. This is really involving, perhaps the best sports anime I"ve seen so far. I am busy doing my project. How are you?

Ah. I see. Somwtimes it's worth checking an eoisode or two to see if the story "feels" right for you, if it seems watchable for my taste then I usually give it a go.

Nope, not yet, but I will watch Cross game eventually :D This Major however completely absorbed me for now. It's like a drama WITH everything thrown in in a wel-shaken mix. I have never ever felt this way about anime series.

I totally LOVE Major! What a have it all story. That's what I like! Are there stories similar to Major, in the way they are told? not necessarily in the sports genre but I just LOVe how comprehensive Major is, it has everything!

...I didn't realise the dad dying would happen so soon and for such an absurd reason. grr. and here i was hoping for a nice father-son subplot. well i like it anyway, it's my kind of story. but too bad about that dad.

Well it's boring to me but some find it well-developed.for me it dragged too much. hahah, what a guy, Toto :D I m watching anime. I am currently watching Major..but I almost don't feel like continuing because I KNOW the dad is going to die :( And I really like him. :( Hector is fine, though I"m not at home currently so he's likely a bit bored.

Haha. No, I haven't seen it. Is that like Rocky?. Ohh there used to be an old wrestling drama called Tiger Mass, it's one of those very old ones that used to air with italian dubs on loval tv.

Hajime no Ippo. About this guy Ippo who was bullied but decided to train boxing- not to get revenge, though.

I'll give that a go as well, never seen it. For the moment I changed topic to boxing anime but it's not as ivolving as the team sports animes.

LOL. It won't last for long- I marathon in clusters but then I go for a looong break. But Slum dunk WAS so funny I didn't even notice I was marathoning it. No, Hungry heart is 52 episode. Maybe it's because I haven't watched many sports anime but I felt the character was nice. There was a bit of drama to his story too, which is probably why I liked it. It's from the same creator as Captain Tsubasa and there were a lot of losses in that one, also quite a bit comradeship outside the filed but I felt everything was quite well balanced. It's probably why I think I will explore the works of this creator more. The losses felt pretty formative..but not as real as in SLum Dunk, but still more real than in CT.. Interestingly, there was also a girl's soccer team in this one and for a change I liked the female character. I didn't in CT. The one in SD wasn't too important fortunately.
