somehow I find talking here more convenient than on MAL. Are Thank you for accepting my friend request ^^. My anime taste is pretty much in disarray, time to sort it out. Are you having a nice weekend?

Well, I haven't for a long time. I don't think my taste in anime is set, it's still changing because there aren't many great ones that I watched. I switched back to it now with Millenium Actress and Paprika, both wonderful and very interesting movies, but I've always loved Miazaki movies (they have a heart) esecially monnooke hime and howl's moving castle and totoro. I used to watch the popular anime when I was a teenager, but I didn't really like a lot of them. What I did like:captain tsubasa because it was a series about determination. I also liked Fushigi Yuugi (I do like a little bit of harem anime from time to time and Fushigi Yuugi was just right), Fruits Basket and General Daimos. Nowaydays I'm on the lookout for movies like Millenium Actress and the ones from studio Ghibli but I think I would still watch some reverse harem anime but definitely some romance anime

oh and I also watched an anime movie called Millennium Actress- it;s great, I recommend it!

Ah,I rewatched somne old series like Lamune and Captain Tsubasa- I don't like soccer but I loved that anime when I was young and I still like it. Has something to do with team spirit, determination and friendship themes running throuhout. No, I haven;t seen East of Eden. I think Shark will be starting soon. Have you given a thought to starting something from the currently airing dramas, maybe Gu family book- I haven't seen it yet myself or Jang Ok Jung, which I also haven't seen.

Well., not much, I switched to anime. Yeah, I just trust Shin ha Kyung's acting so I can take anything, and anyway, it's not terrible, just a bit of fluff. but if it had sime blacklisted actor of mine I probavly wqouldn't bother.

Howdy :) Bokami. How are you? Paprika is a crazy movie. So is Millennium Actress, but I just keep laughing at some point in the movie the camera guy is suprised that the other documentary reporter guy just assumes the roles along with the actress. Very interesting, I definitely love what they did in Millenium Actress, it was very clever. Paprika was a bit too much at some points, but also an interesting film.

Yeah Well, its just that type has a lot of growing up to do before they accept someone else in their life- that IS where the source of fun with these dramas is, I agree. I enjoy that actually. I do suspect that it has something to do with Oguri Shun being cast, though. I am quite fond of him. Well, Nodame guy is not perhaps so much a jerk as a snob, but I like how he progresses throughout. I enjoyed seeing Tamaki Hiroshi in that role. You know, I did like it started with a kiss 2 the taiwanese version- I liked the final episode, it was very warm, but the rest of the series was sometimes very difficult or painful to watch. Hiroto is likeable, I agree. The main lead in EAMR is likeable too but there is just too much chasing after the girl. Well Soyong is on my PTW list too, I"m starting to get curious about the drama little by niw.

Hi. Was just passing by. I haven't forgotten about your Bible. But I just don't spend enough time watching dramas these days to think of a worthy response for the time being. I hope you're enjoying dramas. I've been in a bit of a slump and am still impatient with dramas.

I hope your exams are going well. It's raining here too :D I'm a bit worked up but otherwise I"m trying to watch dramas again and I"m in for something fluffy, so I went for all about my relationship. I quite like it, but it's not a must see.

I see, I would like a drama to make me feel strong emotions again. I've been watching all about my relationship- it's not great, but it has its charm, I like the lead guy characters. Everyone else is a bit less interesting. The story is not bad, but it could have used a better writer.

Yesh, you're right, but I did manager to watch All about my Relationship and while it;s not terribly engrossing, it has its charm. Ah, Bad guy was an excellent drama.I liked the sort of tragic Don Juan trope. The ending was cut short because Kim Nam Gil going to do army service, and it could have used two more episides, as such they had to put everything together too fast.

I've been watchng Everything about my relationship- I like the leads, I really like them, the story could use better writer but it's not bad as far as their interactions goe, it;s the rest that is disappointing. it;s not funny but it has its charm in the way especially Shin Ha Kung acts.

He's neurotic and too much of an jerk, however, in the case of this drama as with nodame cantabile I'd expect slow progression over dram series, specials and pergaps a movie- I think. This guy has a lot of issues to work out, evden with regards to his friend. And I felt a bit worn out by the girl;s antics, though I liked her too. I really liked Asahina, to be honest, I also liked how his relationshio with his sister was made tangible. Overall, I did like it, though. I liked it overall. I just watch Everything about my relationship- pure fluff but I am very fond of Shin Ha Kyung and his character here is actually likeable.

Yes, unfortunately it seems it will be a looong one. I liked it at the time. It's a bit like You've got mail, except it seems more sentimental, though there is some banter- I think you;ve got mail was more banter-driven. I liked it well enough, the mood was nice, thoughh it was difficult to watch for me becaise of screen quality, it's a very old drama. I don't remeber how much I liked the middle parts, bt I definitely remember that I liked the ending. I actually kind of liked the characters in WL as they were, though they seem to be lacking chemistry a little, but it was also a part of their charm. I liked the music, in particular the love theme is not just nice, it's vital. Are you going to watch it? What are you watching?
