tey say variety is the spice of life and i firmly believe that. too much of one thing always uinsh the freshness. but challenges can do that to you. Well there are also thousands of western films to watch, that also helps. do you like cinema outside Asia?

Oh, many times! it always comes back- it's with everything like thus. you need balance and everything in small doses always tastes right bit if you overdo with one thing, it will lose its flavour. it WILL come back :)

and intelligence of the players are possibly the best part of this drama; its humor is lost on me this time- this is from the creators of Salaryman and Salaryman is better for me (are you enjoying it?). There is a girl character who is ridiculed at the start, then does something that I find very Korean, and after that she grew a little. I think the drama suffered from overdetermination .Some parts were totally reductive and/or unnecessary but I liked how smart the two players in this game were. I haven't seen much else for now, I seem to have hit a drama slump again and instead been glued to the screen by Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn movies. Both strong screen presences, charismatic, and great together, I love them. And thank you :P I need to get round to posting another batch of updates one of these days, sometimes it's hard to find time for this.

:D Try watching Failan if you like an unusual love story. Ending was beautiful. Choi Min sik (&certainly; CeciliaCheung) ended up being a sympathethic character for me- after old boy, I would consider failan his second most memorable performance and OldBoy blew me away. It was Mawang-like. Have you seen Memories of Matsuko- this would be my top recommendation for the moment. An unusual film that makes you feel good at the end despite everything. It reminded me of the song from life of brian- always look on the bright side of life. As for dramas, I think Incarnation of money is pretty good, it's very classic in some respects. the antagonist is a corrupt prosecutor and he's smart, the drama was again about exacting perfect revenge and the anatgonist and the hero played a game of cat and mouse, trying to outsmart each other and leave no traces while doing so. Character development

Hi Nina. Just passing by to see what's up in your dramaland these days. I am going to start watching Nine soon, it's ending! I can get addicted (hopefully; I've been in a drama slump again lately). Anyway, have a nice Sunday.

aww. I'm still thinking of changing to Bladey Steeleye, but then wouldn;t that be overkill? lol. how are things?
I gave IoM a 7. I just couldn;t get into it. The main character's growth wasn;t all that convcincing, though I liked him. I liked the girl too. The antagonist was smart. But I don;t know all of that just didn;t seem to add up as well as in giant or salaryman.

I'm still planning to watch that. I hear it;s very good and I even added it to my imdb playlists basing on the imdb ratings and everyone's recommendations. I trust it must be really good. I see, maybe it will pick up in the later part.

Hello! Co tam slychac? Ja tak sobie zrobilam rpzerwe w dramach w strone zachodnich filmpw. Obejrzelam wreszcie Zielona Mile a poza tym pare starych screwball comedies, m.in troche Cary Granta i niezastapionek Katharine Hepburn-cio to dopiero mieli prezencje na ekranie!

Hello Edina! I'm sorry for such a late reply but I took a break from everything drama for a while.I"m glad you liked the chaser : What are you watching now? I had fun with my nephew, I visited him for those past couple of days too and we played a lot. Not watching anything yet but going to. Probably Nine Times travel and Moon/Sun. How are you?

So which one did you go with? Chaser or iljimae? I think this one drama is not so much historical as "period piece". For historical - Jewel in the palace, jumong and others which keep to history would likely be a better fit. Moon/Sun sounds more like a piece of fiction set in the period. I trhink the terms saeguk sometimes can be ambiguous like that. I took a break from dramas. Been watching a bunch of western movies. I watched The Green Mile- finally, I"ve been meaning to for a long time. I also watched some old screwball comedies with a touch of romance. As a result my new favourite is Bringing up Baby with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn- it was a riot.

It was a little bland all in all to me...or maybe I just wasn;t in the right mood. I don;t know, it had a lot of classic elements and the girl's vharacter was winsome but...I don't know. oh nothing new, I had a break from everything drama related for the past week. I feel refreshed.
