Hi, Mitparmar. Hope you're doing well. I was just wondering, are films like 36th chamber of shaolin supposed to be dubbed? Frankly I never really watched martial arts movies from the 1960s or 1970s unless vith a voice-over reader in locsl tv.. so it comes to me as a bit of a surprise to find only dubbed versions. Are there subbed version available?

I liked this drama. I did not like the love triangle, one of the female leads annoyed me - that first girl was really needless. Could have been better without it. I liked the ending a lot. But I liked most of the characters in this drama and Ji Sung proved me wrong- he actually can act. pretty good overall. I was afraid to watch it because I didn;t believe Ji Sung can pull off a historical role, but this one actully was very fitting for him. He was quite charming. The story is overall quite "soft", there were some moments I really liked.

No, he was like that from the moment he was born. We tried doing something about it, but nothing would work. One of his ears permentely lies down. It only raises when he is listetning/being attentive or when the wind blows and puts it up.

This movie is really something else, I have to say. I don't disagree with manicmuse's review, in fact some of the points she raised were what bothered me in this movie too, at least at first. It's not a comfortable movie to watch. However, I find that each and every element with this movie made it convey its message in a very powerful way- in this respect each and every element was needed in this movie exactly as it was. It's a movie which can lead to some interesting discussions and def leaves something to think about.

Yes, I feel a bit more at eease these days. I"m also going to go home for a week next week. Love Letter is a very good love story, but more than love story it's about memories and how they can be healing, embarassing or how they can be a barrier. I was distracted by Akiba, but the main actress actually plays a double role- it can be confusing a little at first. It's not banal.
