by the way, I also think you watched Sandglass. How does that compare to eyes of Dawn? I saw that you liked sandglass less. Somehow, these two titles have always sounded similar to me, mostly because they both seemed so widely popular and well-received and I felt that their ambience may be similar. I"m asking because I am deleting some titles from my Plan to watch lists and am wondering about this drama.

I'm still wondering whether to watch City Hunter. Legal high is hilarious and very well written. It laughs at some established drama cliches whilst still maintaining good drama on its own right. I do hope you will enjoy it. Japanese are good at comedies and twisted stories. Yes, the different perspective is what I am after. I was really interested in Kim Yusin in Queen Seonduk, but there was not enough fpocus on his achievements, so I want to see more perspective on this hero. hahaha, there are too many dramas out there. I want to buy some of them but I never have enough money for that, unfortunately. I'll need to decide which ones I want and then perhaps I can buy them in bulk one day. But it's hard to choose...

I am eternally disappointed in the quality of chinese writing and production: it's negligent and lacks genuine substance, makes errors for the sake of drama. BAD. In this respect, Step into the past is a bit better, it follows a very funny modern guy onto ancient times and focuses entirely on him. He meets a bunch of women along the way-all of them fall in love with him, because he's kind and logical, though he makes rash decisions soemtimes, he's quite likeable overall. It's not bad, though there are times when people seeing his strange modern ways should say something and not stay silent, so it;s also not what I"m looking for. While TWTWB producers must be happy, they really gave us something to talk about and think of and in a good way.

Hello Edinaa ^^
Well, true, but in this case I wouldn;t call it illogical either. I also insist on endings which stay true to the overall tone of the drama, which I think they managed to do. what about the ending to jade palace then? Wasn't that defying all logic? And moreover it wasn't properly explained, though it seems to be they tried to suggest that "time travel" was merely from the film set, which is silly. why go into time travel then? Also, jade palace had so many continuity errors it was just laughable. What was with Yin Si running around when a spear had just pierced run through him? What was with the 5 minute child birth one of the characters went through? I woitnessed similar things in new huan zhu ge ge- they used mouth to mouth in a very dramatic situation. In 17th century china?! the method wasn;t known to physicians back then, let alone common people. Due to ths

haha, thanks. Well the story can get a little annoying towards the end but if the story doesn't appeal to you, there s always something to look at- Jo In Sung is really hot in this drama and the visuals are appealing in general :) I'll look forward to hearing from you later with this then :)

yeah :D but your plan to watch lists are wonderfully minimal :D I actually came to the conclusion that it;s more exciting sometimes to watchi things at random.

:) I am watching it now and it seems to be pulling me in even more, I quite like the main character, he can be funny and some scenes are really funny; he is also quite adaptable, which I like even though he seems like an awful flirt. At the same time something feels a little off, the actor is doing really great, though. By the way, I'm glad Cho Seung Woo accepted the role in horse doctor- i had a chance to see him there for the first time and was quite smitten with his character and how he portrayed him. I'm left to wonder why some actors, like him, have such a likeable aura about them. Anyway, have a great day and weeekend too! :)

I see and I understand your position. My own opinion is that I am worried that they would do a second season too and that they would kill them, I don't want to see them definitely die, that's why I love this as it is. As for a step into the past: so far so good, it's actually fun, and looks better than jade palace- have you seen that?

I am now watching a time travel series from hong kong, which caught my attention with action-filled start. Plus, it;s something different from usual korean and japanese so I am sort of into it.

Hi. I came across your recommendation of A step into the past. I ocassionally like time travel dramas myself but when they make sense. Queen Inhuyns man made sense, JIN made sense. But series like Jade Palace lock heart committed a few continuity errors and I was unable to treat the production seriously, though the cast was nice. But I have to say a step into the past opened on a very strong note, I wasn't expecting such action from the beginning, that sort of opening tends to pull me in quickly and now I want to see how the character will deal with his experiment, so thank you for pointing this drama out, it looks like a very entertaining watch from the get-go! And I love your profile introduction, very interesting read!

I just think they are always laughing at people who are perhaps a little naive. Some of thise people who come there are very rude though and have a sense of entitlemesn, but athere are others who just don't deserve to be treated like a circus freak. Overall the idea is nice, but Simon Cowell, who is behind the franchise, is a slime ball, besides the judges aren;t very capable of really judging. They are often only starlets. I like more the formula of The voice where the coaches don't SEE the participant until they actually perform.

Well, I understand your point of view, I do but I guess it;s just one of those endings when everyone will have their own opinion. I personally choose to have it open ended because both version happy and sad are equally good to me, except I prefer the happy version because otherwise my heart wouldn't take it in this case. I liked the characters too much.

I am obsessed with the Winter Wind now myself too, somehow I feel uneasy that the writers may release a continuation or something to blow the illusions away, I wouldn't like that, but I like that it has given me something to think about in terms of the ending, I"m satsified and because I"m satsified I keep thinking about it.

Do you like the Talent series? I used to watch the British version but I decided that it;s not worth it, people are just being used by those producers. Don't believe in it at all. I loved the ending. It was open-ended. You can treat the final scene as a dream sequence or as reality, thanks to how clever the writers were from the start- they were consistently clever, except for some oout of character behavious in episodes 14 and 15. The ending couldn't have been better planned, though. It's both definite enough and yet open ended enough, how can I not like it. I wish I could the wrtiter what I think, because I honestly appreciate what she was trying to do. Yomgie was a very changeable caracter, though. I am watching Bokura no Yukki right now. it seems ok, I started it because it reminded me of lord of the flies, a british novel. I hope you;re having a nice afternoon

I am, however, going to try luck with Gu Fmily Book. Hopoefully it will be better than Arang. but i feel like my drama drive is dying down anyway, think i;ve marathoned too much and i am getting tired of dramas by now. oh well. comes with the addiction. how's your prosecutor homework?

that's what I'm thinking of doing too, no point in addind something you can't access. aahh, good, i hope you will both like shut up flower boy band then. :) King if dramas may not be everyone;s cup of tea but siwon has a really cute role, while the main character belongs to a different genre.
