I have never aniticipated a kiss this much and with so much bated breath, ha! And the two leads had really nice chemistry. and of course, I find another sadly underrated drama to adopt and love. yay me!

that;s why I marathon. :-) If I'm bored I skip to interesting parts. Though afterwards I go back to see I haven't missed anything.

sounds like a good variety :) i'm getting back to things more slowly, but at least something's got my attention, a drama about two friends falling in live, very cute so far for me, enjoying it a lot.

this is one of those rare love dramas, in which nothing overdone happens. A good, simple story with good chemistry. Funny from episode 1 and characters...so likeable! Liking this a lot! Characters are attractive and have a very convincing bond. It's easy to like them. It's been sitting in my plan to watch lists for sooo long...now I'm almost done devouring it! But the progress gets a little draggy in the later part of the episodes in the sense that I simply couldn't WAIT for development between them. It does require some patience here but the wait is oit only worth it, the whole process is really nice to see! ;-) It's an 8 from me. EDIT: my comment below is a big spoiler for ep 15 so don't read unless you watched the show.

the story tries to be intelligent by references to Alice in Wonderland, too, but it only sounds presumptous and pretentious to me. But given how the main character is progressing, it seems slightly different from a typical korean romance. but MYG is not convcining to me here, even though I tend to like her in some dramas. This is my honest opinion basing in what I have seen so far. I don't think it hurtds to give it a try, but as for me I am pretty sure the drama is absolutely unsuitable for my mindset and personality.

I am 6 episodes into the drama and I alreay have an opinion. The originality of the series lies in the way it creates the main lead. She starts typically but turns into a gold digger as the story progresses, so she becomes a kind of an anti-hero, which is interesting. In comes a rich, slightly crazed guy who is actually quite lovable and who will likely get hurt in all this. I am not liking the originality of it all that much. I think it's too cynical and vacuous and although I can understand the main character's motivations, I cannot empathise with her at all. This kind of female "strength" does not appeal to me, especially if it involves lying and calculated scheming. She is taking care of herself, and it's all good but really the role model she is choosing, I"m not sure I can accept it. I like some characters (PSH) but not so much the story.

I think Hyunie wouldn't do well in a saeguk anyway, either, he would seem out of place to me too a little bit. Anyway I am glad to read back from you too and glad to see thingd are looking up for your drama watching as well. Will look out for your clever insights and reviews, especially now that I am refreshed and ready to watch dramas again. I feel relieved this slump seems to be over.

Well I have been in a serious drama slumo to the point I couldn;t watch anything even if I wanted to. I started watching Chrongmadong Alice but the show is so annoyingly vacuous! The type of strong female it has is the type that becomes a gold digger and uses other people. I like Park Shi Hoo;s character and that's about all, but the drama is pulling me back to dramaland so I"ll just keep watching regardless of how annoyed it makes me feel. The lead actress is not the best actress out there either. I love your rants. Haha, I see, I guess saeguks aren't for you then, though not all of them are like that. I csn understand that but some saeguks show in a very detailed way the mechanisms of political power and I like them for the court subtleties they offer. Ji Sung did a historical drama but he;s not an actor for saeguks, it was just...mismatch.

:D They are all right I suppose, I think I like them better than the main character who is just getting obnoxious with how much of a gold digger she;s becoming. This is for cynics who like to use other people. Though I can understand her motivation, she is the kind of antihero I love to hate. I hate the message this drama is sending. I really feel sorry for PSH character. I HATe the kinds oif main girl, though, so onboxiously cynical, like a vixen. So see this dramas has me at love-hate relationship. Dallas? No, I used to watch Dynasty, why?
