Maybe it's both, otherwise "fate" wouldn't become realised. oh the mother of the lead girl is a character which I think you will discover conforms to a certain typical korean drama character type, but not in a very obvious way. Well, I can understand meddling and pushiness in a way that is meant to "promote" children, but not parent types like in boys before flowers or secret garden- the mother there was just too much for me to take, so overbearing. I want to try and watch Repoly but I can;t seem to focus on any drama at the moment, instead I feel like watching something western, but not anything new, an old favourite of mine or two. I don't know when I will go back to dramas, right now I seem to be in this annoying slump and I really can't seem to focus on any particular drama

The great King;s dream doesn't seem to have subs just yet. Yes, I know, there is so much I still want to see but right now I can;t seem to get out of my drama slump. I can;t focus on a drama and it's annoying. Instea I feel like revisiting soe old western movie favourites of mine. DongYi is probably the wors saeguk I have seen. I was entirely frustrated with the characters- especially the king- Ji Jin Hee is a good actor, but he needs better roles, I did like him in Jewel in the palace. Did you hear there is a sequele in the making? Do you know anything about it? I am frankly surprised that such a long drama would need a second one =;= It troubles me because I do not, generally like sequels. exceptions are with dramas like Nodame Cantabile, where sequeles and specials really solidify the story and give a sense of very tangible growth between characters.

That's the impression I also had. Not sure if you watched TPM, but the reason why I was actually quite disappointed with TBM was because like TPM it is a drama which relies on overly dramatic cliffhangers and quickly goes from one extreme to another. In other period pieces, the sense of progression is more natural, flows from circumstances. The pacing in TPM and TBM left me feeling a little empty.
The premise of the story is really great, though. So I hope you will still be able to get the most out of the drama. Would you like to see more time travel dramas in future drama seasons? Even though I find it a bit doubtful now, tthe theme feels rather exhausted for now.

Well, I thought the premise was somehow interesting. I would really like to see a drama pull a Kate and Leopold kind of ending on the viewer...but it would have to be really well adjusted to the story. QIM has to some extent. Roftop prince had an interesting ending too. The reason I liked JIN so much was because it pondered over so many questions while showing the adaption of a modern person to the ways of the past. That was really interesting. Yes, I wish King2Hearts had at least 24 episodes. But well, it was a risky drama all in all, and not that well received, but they managed to gather a very endearing ensemble cast even the very visuals and setting make me want to go and watch it again. Well, maybe there is still hope for LMH and one day he will become a better actor, he is young, so perhaps he will learn, if he will be serious about it. Did you watch the Bridal Mask?

Are you enjoying Faith then? I admit I haven't really looked back on it since LMH is in it, even though the drama was written by a rather good scriptwriter, some of whose works I enjoyed in the past. The way you write about BJX I find very sensible I like appealing visuals when they accompany good storytelling. This is why I enjoyed King2Hearts so much. The setting was really well done and the story well progressed and rich, though with one clear goal in mind: make Lee Jae Ha into the king he should be. well there were exceptions, a couple of bumps that I couldn't forgive like ESK so quickly forgotten, it didn't feel rght, considering they had such a big argument about not letting him go. I felt a bit deceived with that part, not with the death per se..but with how it was handled afterwards, yes he was a side character but no less important.

Well legal high doesn't have love at all, well, maybe in some strange whacky way, but it's rather a pure partnership.I am yet to see BBJX, but I am looking forward to it, escept I keep putting it off because I expect the ending to leave too much of an impact on me. After watching Jade Palace I became somewhat disappointed with Chinese dramas and haven;t really watched any since. I mean jade palace had cute cxast but the execution was poor.In any case I look forward to hearing your opinions on these dramas. What do you look for most in a drama?

Bez porównania ze sztucznym napi?ciem w saegukach typ TPM. ja mialam tak silne przezycia jak patrzylam na mishil to w sumie chcialam ja zabic za to jej manipulowanie, choc z drugiej strony podziwialam ja bardzo. mozna myslec, ze postacie sa troche przerysowane, ale na pewno nie jest to wynikiem sztucznego zabiegu, a splotu okoilicznosci. A coz on bidak moze zrobic kiedy nie wie nic? wiedze ma Mishil i umie ja wykorzystac do swoich celow a ona nie zawaha sie przed niczym, nie chce Ci jednak nic zdradzac..ale poczekaj no tylko na odcinki po odcinku 20tym ktoryms. Tak mlodzi aktorzy sa swietni, mlody Kin yusin tez jest fajny.

poza tym, to sa wlasnie intrygi dworskie. podnobnie jest w jumongu- tylko ze tam krol jest duzo silniejszy- ale jak latwo mozna stracic kontrole a potem jej nie ozyskac, to wszystko moim zdaniem bardzo realistyczne jest. kto ma wladze, kontrole nad ludzmi, ten ma najwieszja moc.

Teona, I have an idea that you could do: think of ten best and wors kings queens in saeguks! Or something to o with character portrayla in saeguks. This is where you can shine :D

Ale to nie jest najgorszy król jakego widzia?a?: najgorzy król kiedykolwiek jest w Dong Yi :P Ale ciesz sie raczej silna kobieta, bo nie zawsze znajduje sie takie postacie :D

Oh an you added Legal high and Jejoongwon to your lists. Jejoongon is a lovely transitional drama, I think you may like it. I hope you will like legal high too, but legal high is a satire with no romance. Iy;s one big joke, that drama, quite literally. Hope you;ll have fun :)Are you planning to watch Startling sequel?

I just felt like it. Will do, not sure when, I reached a drama slump at the moment lol.

I did, but it's still a clairvoyant review somewhat, I am still against writing a review of the show until one watches all episodes and she hasn't really expressed herself that well, either. Her review was not constructive and analytical, she simply wailed it was boring, that's not how you do a review, either.

I am fine with it- as long as it has a purpose, as in the Devil or Confessions. I couldn't even start Vampire prosecutor 1 because it was tacky. I'll give season 2 a go then. I will still watch the final episode of Arang..I have a feeling the first two and final two episodes will be enough to know what's happening and I will just want to see shin Min Ah.

ok I'll leave it for the fangirils to swoon over then lol. I"m not going to go where they clearly want to enclose themselves in their petty and narrpow-minded perspectives. I think I will no longer bother writing reviews either. Except on the blog and maybe a comment or two n the drama page. I am NOT putting this comment into spoilers. I am fed up with people who think they can "own" a drama page with just one kind of swooning comment type! This really tend to irritate me.

lol :D I wanted to check it out as I like shin Min Ah. Lee Jun Ki I don;t know much of..I;d rather have Lee Min Ki, as he is a goofball and i like him. But the fangirlish comment really annoyed me. I dropped it with a 1 to lower the rating a little.
