It's great o have like-minded people to talk to so much about dramas lol. Yes, I just thought you were still hesitating :) I don;t always remeber everything- or instance not sure if I tol you that I did have a look at faith and saw some puprle gate and left instantly at that because it just looked too cheesy. lol. But I was just having a conversation with someone about LMH;s eyes. lol. We came to the conclusion that perhaps LeeMH's eyes should be a separate actor category on MDL XD, sicne his eyes are good actors lol.

Haha, thank you for cinfirming that I'm not crazy XD I prefer to be involved more in a drama and this failed, and so the story feels wasted. If this drama had 40 episodes..we could talk depth....but I"m afraid these young actors can't handle depth yet.

I don't mind when you reply, it;s quiote obvious we all have something else to do elswhere, so don't worry about that. I agree- the fast pace makes it not involving enough and that;s why it gives off this glossy but shallow feel to it. Cannot compare with well developed sagesuks like QSD or Jumong I am watching now. It is more like the Princess man. I am disappointed because the story had potential and I liked the story- how it's hard to be hero, the raise of the resistane, the sacrifices you have to make, but it was just...executed poorly. the actors didn;t involve me, either and for me it ended up as a mess that is of far worse standards in terms of depth of storytelling than, say Yi san, or Jumong.

She was a very good teacher, wasn;t she, though sometimes a bit too extreme for my liking so I questioned some of her methids, but still, a thought provoking drama. hahaha, the power of j dramas is uneniable.

besides notice..princess man is now a thing of the past...now we're living in the days of Bridal Mask..until anither hyped drama comes along..but Queen Seon duk , Jumong will be the ones to stand the test of tine and be appreciated by the right people at the right time :D Jumong is wooonderrfulll, and now the progrsssion i sstarting, it is very interesting, I love character growth stories like this an Jumong is the underdog rookie of the year!!

hahahah :D Bokami, I've been there too with princess man. I know how it feels, it;s like seeing something super attractive and exciting for the first time and making it seem like it;s the best thing in the world. The princess man is an exciting watch and has all the pretty pretty faces, but Han hye Jin os a better lead for saegukls than the one playing Seo-reong. An the initial episodes ARE wonderful. I just LOVE the general, hels such a likeable, adorable, endearing man! Yoo Hwa has that saeguk-y charm. People need to grow up to some dramas, however. As you say in your profile- timing is one of the ignredients! : D But I just wish Jumong knew who his father wa,s he could recognize him now,....arghhh!

Also, that priestess, I don't know what to make of her, but surely, it cannot be another Mishil....?!? She sure has caused problems, however, and calls it fate? I'm not sure I can trust her.

^_^Jumong IS my type of drama, it has it all. The supportice King dad, too...I hope it lasts, you never know with kings especially with peopke who were jealous of the love of a friend they loved too. Jumong is my type of underdog and it's going to be fun watching him mature...but please let at least his father know that he is teaching his own son! Man, so heartbreaking, pople really should communicate! It would be so nice to let Jumong know too, who is teaching him. I think I"m dying right now, because he revealed that he is Geum-Wa's son..nooooo you silly boy, you;re noooooot! :( It's so frustrating when a father is right in front of you and you can;t even know THAT. Dae-so, I'm not sure yet. He seems like an ambitious type who doesn;t want to be in the shadow. I think he may be getting jealous of Jumong.

around whose lists I can consult for idea.s..and I"m usually never disappointed- especially if my insticsts also kick in and find the synopsis interesting, then the drama is guaranteed success. If that is still not enough for me, I skip through the episodes of a drama and find one moment which tells me- oh, yes. Watch. haha, it would, wouldn't it? the same with books..so many thing to see and read and do, so little time.

haha. yes, welcome to the underworld of drama junkies :) I tend to be somewhat eccelctic in what I watch as I like to take something from both genres. I tolerate romantic comedies with goofy females, but I do like when a woman is strong. If you're into politics, I'd suggest watching Dae Mul for one example of a strong lead. You may like I do, I do for its lead character, modern, fashionable and cool. For a strong female lead, there are also some japanese dramas that could be nice to watch, but are you into japanese dramas? Also, some korean saeguks feature some of the strongest female leads. But decent korean saeguks tend to be fairly long- about 40-80 episodes on average. If you;re into that, Queen SeonDuk and Jumong I am currently watching have those, but court introgues are a major part of it. When choosing dramas I either go by insticts, or I like to have like-minded people

interesting, however. But right now, jumong has captured my heart and won't let go.

about 1 litre of tears. Well I keep avoiding it because I"m not yet ready to cry 1 litre of tears. So, yes, I've been staying away for it because it;s a sad story, and I tend to avoid sad love stories. Even though it is the journey that counts, not the outcome... I also tend to avoid genuine Romeo and Juliet stories- which always strike me as a little bit too selfish in theirburning passion which disregards everything else. However, it is the journey that counts the most-not the outcome. I will fit 1 Litre of Tears for sure in between two happy dramas. I was planning to watch it someday eventually but right now I was in the mood to come back to a good korean saeguk and so...I am lost to Jumong. I am also very curious about Guilty Akuma...the first opening shots with the crow were intriguing, though when I noticed Tamaki Hiroshi I felt he's giving off a Yukata Takenouchi vibe. Looks

I also like the lead guy's relationship with his boss ahaha. Made me ask who;s the boss haha. You o that too! with the endings?! LOL I love to do that since I am impatient to know the ending first. Then I can enjoy tensions at ease. I did that with the Devil the first time around..but on my trye watching of the series, I forgot really, I only knew that UTW dies, but withiout the context of the story I didn't understand and thus did not expect the impact it ended up having. Also, if a drama doesn;t pull me in, I tend to fastforward to find a moment which does pull me in lol. That;s why I prefer marathoning. I agree with you about j-romances! So true, all the titles you mentioned. I think people are put off by lack of idols, sadly. The actors are too "old" and "ugly - this really bothers me! And I think they want to see more of something like Buzzer beat, and Queen Inhyun;s man, too

I hope you may like it. Apologies if I misrepresented Tree...I am planning to add it to my watchlists soon, since I haven;t watched it yet. If you do watch Painter, let me know if it compatres? Haha. To tell you the truth, I wasn;t too happy with the romance, either, but somehow it worked since I felt it WAS mostly friendship based and deepning over time. Ha, I thought you perhaps didn;t like how persecuting high profile politicians for their overindulegences was presented. Oh, Change. I remeber watching parts of it, but I don't think it can compare. You will ser lobbying and playing political games in order to succeed. This one has a lot of politics in it. I did find it interesting to see a woman president. And Dae Mul was the drama of 2010, 2which made other dramas, like my beloved jejpoongwon, fall into oblivion. Even if for nothing else: the female lead is strong and not stupid.

A lesson from saeguks: Learn to Communicate important things :D BEFORE the things you suspect happen will happen. lol I just can;t believe this, so many things could be avoided lol if people in those saeguks did communicate important information, like for instance who your father is. sigh. will they ever learn? nooo...there would no drama otherwise.
