the ones in "Thoughts Section for instance: Taiwanese Dramas, It's been a while, Matsuda shota in RelSpa, Lakorn! and Lakorn 2 in that same category, Ten Special Affairs Team and A gentleman;s Dignity in IMW, Jam Levy Ruk in that same category, and that's all I noticed. Are you planning on watching Bride mask? I think you may like it.

but at the same time this is not done sufficiently deep to involve me. I will give this drama you talk about a try-I was actually thinking about it but hesitated as te synopsis about a jealous student put me off a bit., because it sounded like te student is a man-hunter type, but I will give it a try for sure. I am watching Maou now and you know what, I can't seem to like it! It's lackluster to me and Toma is just not UTW and Ohmo doesn;t have the same cold aura as Ji Hoo... and yet the drama is loved by teenagers...the drama won Nikkan sports awards, wile mawang remains an underdog. that really makes me angry because the korean version is far more mature, deep and detailed than the japenese version, which i find to be far more shallow. And yet teeans would find Mawang boring and draggy for sure- this is the kind of thing that actually tends to annoy me.

after that, we will rationalize this love and either find explanations for it - logical explanations or we will find that the drama was actually overrated- this is how favourites get picked. I am watching bridal Mask now- it fails to engage me emotionally, so I am watching clearly and I can see its good points such as action sequences etc, but the fact that it;s not pulling me in (except for the older brother story at the begnning) suggests to me that the formula as worn- as this drama seems to draw on the success of such dramas like the princess man and i can see why it would ave mass appeal and moreover i think it deservedly has the mass appeal since it has all the elements popular drama watchers will enjpy. As for me, I find myself drawn to the fact that it tries to present how difficult, lonely and burdensome it is to be a hero

I was curious about your Giant watching ;-) Giant has one of the best older brother types on TV and the character really grow on you and you grow to really care for them- that' why I appreciate stories which begin with character's childhood. It gives such a better image of their selves. haha, I agree with you completely on my girlfein is a gumiho. There are people who logically hate it, but I say it;s fun. I also say to them then that Hong sisters dramas are either a hit ior miss- most of the time a miss for me, but Gumigo is the only drama I like by them. Others who idislike Hthe Hongs say that sometimes too, only have a different preferred Hong drama. I think I can relate to that logic is not always the main reason we like a drama...first, there is en emotional recognition..I tend to think..it appeals to our sense of experience of the world perhaps, to our values, our feelings. I think

yes perhaps i exaggerate, but I can;t love this version, it;s lackluster, I jumoed to the ending since I know the story and the story is practically the same....they just introduced some extra sentences...they watered it down for me. LOL I think I do love mawang too much but it has completely capture me. No, I agree teenagers will like this version more.

the ost is nice too. I know it's strange- I say I don;t like but I have positive things to say about, but lookig objectively, that's how it is. This kind of dramas will capture the heart of viewers for sure. I am rewatching Equator man and it looks like I was a bit unfair to it, but I still can;t get over how unrealistic is the blindness thing switching on and off.

It's an appealing story in the vein of the princess man, which shows how difficult it is to be a hero. I'm not hooked onto it, but there are elements there that I find interesting and I think there is nothing strange about this being a popular drama, because it has all the ingredients that drama producers learned people expect- from dramas like the princess man. but this is why it eventually becomes a bit tired. However, the action sequences are good, the story gives some depth to why it is difficult and burdensome to be a hero, the visuals are appealing, and the brother is not forgotten, like in other dramas- but I wonder WHY the heck did he have to die? They would show something original by not having older brother die but live and support his younger brother lol. Anyway, the brother is now one of my favourite characters and the drama did feature some of the ebst brother scenes.

Hi Yeina, aww, thanks! I found the quote on goodreads. Your profile looks very well, Iy;s good to change your mind sometimes, though :) I like to refashion some of the things too lol But it's well organised and images may be better than typing everything. :) Yes, I know you talked about it at length, I was just sharing my insights :) But I intend to finish it- in fact i am finishing it by skipping episodes lol. I don;t care for the girl, but Jo Won is actually nice in thos role and I'd like to see justice happen. LOL, actually it may sound strange Yeona; as much as it doesn't hook me I do think this drama has earned its populairty as it has all elements people wll enjoy. I personally like the action sequences and the older brother.

haha! And the site tends to be even more addicting than dramas! :D I agree about Hana Yori ango. I actually found it better than the korean version. And I developed a crush on Lee Seung Gi after King2Hearts. I tend to prefer older actors. I am a bit troubled about the cruciclbe- it;s a very eye opening movie, but I left it unrated because it doesn;t feel right to "rate" such a movie. So, are you watching Faith as LMH fan?

Bokami...is this SERIOUS? How could the japanese destroy mawang like this? It doesn't build the tension, everything is quite obvious from the start, the acting is poor - the attempt to reconstruct physical appeareance of the characters is pathetic! Toma is just BAD as the deteicve, and the laywer doesn;t have that same aura of coldness...this doesn't make sense at all. Does it get at least a little better later? becaure right now I consider maou to be rather poor...

Title Lucifer
I'm hooked right from the very beginning, the story is immersive and attractive, I am liking the use of colour…
This show is really nor for everyone, though. Perhaps Maou is recommended for people who don't like repetitions. what bugs me is why everyone thinks this is about the WHO...it's not about the WHO, as the WHO is rather obvious from the start- but then so it is in Maou! ><
