Way to go, Skye! Spread love for the underdogs! I so agree about Ninkyo Helper! The drama is excellent. I also felt that Kusanagi was pretty well cast in that role and the social problems it tackled was not only sensitive but touching, the story was emotionally involving. I really liked it. I am yet to watch the others...especially shiroi haru. Hiroshi abe is an interesting actor who often plays eccentric roles so it;s not always easy to get into his stories, however. He is a bit of an acquired taste, I think.

Very interesting. I o have a couple of ideas for articles but since I am writing something else I really won;t have the time..for now...heck I don't have the time to work on my own blog.. beautiful interpretation! Agree! yes, the devil is the feelings. and the devil can take momentary and complete hold of one's self. Instincts aren't evil. they are geared for survival, what they do push to do, however, can end up being evil. Evil lies in intention and the feeling that evokes this intention in the first place. there is always some cause and effect. However, what you say about legacy is to me arguable - for some the past will not count, but there will be people who will be forever holding that against you and people do not forget so easily the crimes of the past- perhaps because they wish to satisfy their own vain feeling of superiority, but the sense of redemption or at least an attempt at it is very strong and this is also in part what makes watching this drama so catharthic- the recognition of the fact that we could do it. and we are terrified and or sympathise.

And how can you call t5hat a review? :( i am depressed over such an extreme reaction to my different opinion. this is almost bullying.

lol sorry, perhaps i am no too clear about it What i mean is the cliche in dramas which present family members as deeply, almost diabolically greedy, spoiled and evil, sometimes even willing to kill their own children/parents etc etc. But more freqiuntly it;s the parents/unlces who are demonised and I find it very objectionable. I really dislike that.

I will give it a try one of these days. iit;s just that from perspective I really feel that Ueno is not good for saeguks. She felt ridiculous. I did like the moher and that first husband who died in the second episode and I also liked how the crazy Monkey was portrayed-good acting, but as for the rest, i am not articularly fond of it. Well maybe I will change my mind again someday.

Well, it's interesting but I thought it lacked something. Still, as a love atory I found it be quite nice, especially because of the portryal of the leading lady, which set up a tension right from the start, the mystery is built well and I liked the chemistry, the fascination Yukata's character felt, but at the end of the day I missed some vital ingredient and it doesn't top mawang for me, somehow. I don't know what it was, really, the background issue at stake was interesting too but somehow I am not very enthusiastic about this drama. I was recommended w no higeki together with legal high, I;ll give it a chance soon but first I am still trying to focus on Vampire proescutor, but can;t seem to get into it.
