I absolutely loved this drama.. This is a drama for those who rather than action appreciate more tensions and ambiguities between characters, tensions of various kinds.. tensions and misunderstandings created by words, tensions and subterfuges which create tragedy. There is a lot of talking, but this taklkin has various shades and meanings and is beautifully rendered by acting prowess of the actors involved. It has a lot of detail and reveals a lot about character portrayal. They show these many situations for the viewers to see and infer own conclusions and to unravel the tragic threads of fate our protagonists are doomed to, to understand them thoroughly. Very well done, thorouh and detailed. Facts are not accurate but the way they are reimagined gives them much colour and emotion and can encourage the viewer to explore the historical facts much more.

as a ruler. The ending was as peaceful as Deokman was hollow inside. But at least she didn;t suffer for too long and did follow Bidam fairly quickly. But that death scene...man. So sorry for both of them. Yushin remained the pillar of strength until the end. I hope KNG will have a new drama soon. He's super talented, but he should try a different role, less..brooding. otherwise he will remain typecasted. Uhm Tae Woong is working like crazy, but I do hope he will get a leading role in another saeguk sometime. And Lee Yon Wo, Deokman, is doing another sageuk soon. I like her so I will be looking forward to it. Queen Seon Duk is a drama that deserved all the accolades. Brilliant inpdepth story. Brilliant.

I;m done with the drama. I lost all heart for Deokman, while my pity for Bidam has burst. she has treated him very unfairly. At the end of the day she was the one left with regrets and the loneliness she had made for herself because of her decisions and lack of faith. But I pity her too, she turned into a queen, but one that was doomed to be forever lonely..only that loneliness was her own doing. It needn;t have had to be that way. She not onyl destroyed herself, she desotryed Bidam too, in a way. She left him no other choice, poor guy. Of course the real Bidam was different, but I really emptahised wthi KNg;s character. I really want to see him in another drama. As for Yushin, I could see his feelings in those final moments.And KimChuchun annoyed me to the end, he was also a voice of mistrust, he really didn;t help. What a brilliant story about choices, and sacrifices one must make

Sounds like the main protagonist may be a likeable character. I will wait until it finishes airing but I sure hope the drama will not ridicule the protagonist, I hate that.

you will probably find it elswere. youtube is responding to flags by users. well it's still about 7 episodes, i really dislike extensions, i'd rather dramas end sooner rather than later lol.

Ah yes Yamto, it was too strange for me, so I never got through it but it may be adorable lol. I will go back to watching completed dramas as I will want to wait until BM and others finish airing. Otherwise I won;t be able to wait :D

To jest przepis na dobra drame scenariusz dobrej pisarki + dobrzy aktorzy, ktorzy znaja fach a poza tym chyba niezle sie przy tymb awili, a to jest tez wazne. Ja sie ciesze ze sie Y i M ulozylo, bo od poczaqtku mnie do nich ciagnelo bardziej niz do glowenj pary. ale zakoczenie dla glownej postaci kobiecej z pompa jak trzeba :D to co teraz? Bride Mask? ja czekam az sie skonczy na razie nie mam serca tego zazynac, bo strasznie nie lubie czekac na kolejne odcinki :D

It focuses on pingpong and the interesting story of a unified Korea team and how they warm up to each other to face the challenge as one team. It's very nice, a pleasant watch. I want to see hotaru no hikari the movie, Amemyia and Buchou are adorable. Well I had favourite actors before but then I got confused because I am still discovering Korean actors so I first want to see more of them before I ultimately decide who I genuinely like to watch. I think Uhm tae Woong is definitely one of them, his style is right up my street.

Will do :D Well maybe I will first jump to Yi San, because I really want to atch all those best classic saeguks. But SeonDuk will be definitely unforgettable.

I just watched it actually, it's a nice, heart-warming little movie. Enjoy. I decided that I am not sure who my favourite actors are for the moment and until I decided who I like seeing the most, I will leave it blank :)

king2hearts isn't a historical drama. It;s a modern drama that plays on the concept that Korea is still a monarch. Sounds like Goong? Well, it's much better than Goong. Hope you like love shuffle :)

Eh, I may give it a try. :) hahaha there was an image somewhere showing Mayer. Shi Kuyng and the princess- the actors they were clearly friendly, I like that. AGD cast seems to have had great fun together too. I like when this is the case, it helps to enjoy the drama.

lol. I see your point but I beg to differ.This is a drama about scheming and planning. That;s why I said below that Yushin could use another drama - to show the epic battles he led to bring the Queen victories, as they mostly aren't shown. And the historical Yushin was indeed an accomplished general, so it's a pity that part has been reduced to a shadow. But then again this drama is not about Yushin, but about a Queen's rise to power, it focuses on the motivations of the forces involved in the intrigues as it casts light on the development of a Queen and the political games involved, and so of necessity involves plenty of what feels like realistic planning and conferring. And it's fine because the actors are excellent (Mishil for one) so it's never really boriing. Even though or especially because historical facts have been reinvented here to make the story more emotionally engrossing.
