what annoyed me about SG was that it was spomehow artificial. I lked it well enough but somehow it tried to overdo asnd that mother fioggure was really too much. I really appreciate dramas here parents are normal. but then again, it worked within the context of the drama since there was this insistience on materiality and meeting her changed him. I'd still watch this over the flick it;s a boy girl thing. Right now, though I am a bit disappointed that queen inhyun;s man is being raved over as god knows what. it;s far from a masterpiece, much like rooftop prince. sometimes this world of dramas gets so tiresome because I feel there is a lot of undiscerning viewership going on...and since this is what audience what, the drama proucers give and then the good dramas often end up being underdogs. I am so annoyed that I'm going to write a book about this.

I didnlt get a chance to see introduction to architecture.and i spent the entire night marathoning - having already seen three episodes on saturday- I loved the friend though, the one who got confessed to in the final episode as well, it was very sweet. but I can;t get over the conductor. You;re right I like hero types and at least there was a moment of consolation for both father and son, that particular moment was very very touching.

Well, Stranger, I secretly swallowed operation proposal in the meantime :D The girl was hell of annoying, she always kepot escaping and she was barely giving him any chance at all, such a see-saw between them...she was running away always to that pretty faced coach, while the poor guy really risked it all for her, granted he learned a lot in the process! But it was pretty good and it felt different from jap version, which i will haver to revisit. And man I teared up in episode 15. noooooo... i love father/son storylines but man...and now I don't get it, if he got his memories at the end, would he remeber his father? or do you think he would simply have this knwoledge in his heart uncsonsciously that his dad loved him very much? Episode 15 teared me up completely. I love the conductor. heh. How the movie? Because I was busy swallowing up -in secret-operation proposal-

Hi there. How's it going? I think I have a recommendation for you: try watching Operation proposal (Korean version), there is something interesting there especially once you get to the final episodes. but the entire drama is nice too, especially if you like queen inhyun's man.

haha. maybe i;ll wacth it after this but i just don't enjoy american productions (asian productions have spoiled me!), with the exception of a couple of them, mostly some of the oldies+House MD) I like Kim Ha Neul and last time I sasw Jang Dong Gun was in TaeGukGi where he starred along Won Bin i a very heavy anti-war film, but one that really made it to my favourites by virtue of the story which used the metaphor of brothers to tell its story. it was emotional. I am glad to see him in something lighter. I love his hair like this i believe he had some eyeliunes ar first too, made him look cool but i can totaslly relate to the need to see the eyes :D haha that's true but that scene also remindes me of bollywood for some reason. you know when they suddenly transport from India to Egypt during the songs...
Gahhh... if this is a masterpiece then I feel rather insulted. I can't comment much further since I haven't finished…
and rooftop ending somehow brought back memories of that anime and its ovas. I liked Yui Watase's writing. Maybe they should do a live version some day, that would be interesting. I even had envisioned candidate actor for one of the characters.

Starlit- perhaps it's not a question of how many scenes they had but how many times they had to film each of them ahahah :D I think the lead said somewhere he really likes Yoo In Na...that;s what I read on the forums at least. Someone was also saying that she said that a relationship with him would nt be impossible, but maybe this is just a case of promoting the drama encouraged by the drama producers who realise how much the audience liked the couple? who knows with these things...it can be quite staged, I do not trust show biz when it comes to such beautiful emotions as love. They often commercialise it in order to cash in on it. I really enjoyed the ending of Rooftop Prince - it was open ended and offered at least something a little thoughtful. I liked that. Also because as a teenager I watched fushigi yuugi and I completely loved how they handled Taka/Tamahome, and this reminded

then. AGD is from the writer of Secret Garden, though, so it's likely to be another of those hit-or miss ones but so far so good, even though Secret Garden is definitely not my top favourite drama. CP was way better. But it hits the right spots so far with me, the four guys and ladies I think will play off each other well and the four guys have a great dynamics together. I think they;re very appealing like this.

aww.Well maybe that is the phenomenon of Hong sisters, they write hit-or-miss and hit with someone, miss with some, but then it averages out and so in eneral they become very sucessful scriptwriters. It's been a while since Jang Dong gun was in a drama and I have not recognized him here - sfter TaeGukKi. I hope the drama will keep its pace because so far it's really likeable and making a story about guys in their 40s who..behave like guys in theior 40s sometimes do is interesting. Nina, I also really like the fact that these differences exist. There will be dramas that we share in some overall drama scheme, maybe we will share some of the most classic productions , like Coffee Prince , while we will differe in those idiosyncratic dramas that hit the right chords with our personalities and experiences. It's trully wonderful to realise, also because there is so much material to discuss

Well lee dong wok gets uninteresting roles most of the time. his dramas are either very bad = wild romance or just bad, with the exception of my girl possibly and scent of a woman- hopefully. haha. Well I will be showeinrg more love on our F40 :P I like Jang Dong Gun and how his lead lady are being set up. At least I hope it;s his lead lady, they;re very nice together and I just loved the stylist for this drama, Jang Dong gun is looking really cool. The others too I just love that this drama is showing how men in their 40s sometimes act haha. Very very good romcom, one to watch. Finally! Thank you powers at be for Secret garden writer doing a drama this year or I would go crazy with the fangirlism of rooftop and queen inhyun;s man. heh.

Yes but Goong Yo is no Tom Hanks. Perhaps it will work I reallty dislike most of Hong sisters drama, I only liked my girlfriend is a gumiho. A couple of fantasy was ok too, i kin da liked it more than overboard. But what I a really like is a Gentleman;s agreement, from the Secret garden writer, now for me this is a romcom to watch. Well organised, funny and with guys over 40 for a change- very original I disliked rooftop prince- though I enjoyed how it ended, with an open-ended ending and I really appreciated because somehiow that ending wasn;t just dishing out fan service., but offered something at least a little thoughtful. I am looking forward to bridal mask but why are the episodes out so infrequently?

Well hello there Ireland! ^_^ How lovely to hear from you! :) Salaryman is all slapstick wacky with a lot of drama tensions thrown in, it had really high watch ratings in korea and it;s from a writers who wrote the epic modern drama- Giant. Uhm Tae Woong is delicious in any role, much as I didn;t like Equator too much (though ending was well done and some technicalities well done), I LOVED Uhm Tae Woong and his younger self played by a very talented teen actor. I watched kin2hearts, it;s in my top 5 favourite dramas ever. I loved it, it had it all and was so well made, broke my heart to learn the viewership was so low for it, consequently they will not be getting any recognitions. Rooftop will be most likelt. I disliked it. All fangirls went crazy over rooftop and Queen inhn;s/ And with fangirls you are the bad guy if you have a different opinion. But I hope you will enjoy Queen
Gahhh... if this is a masterpiece then I feel rather insulted. I can't comment much further since I haven't finished…
indeed. I gave it an overall 7. the actors themselvers are nothing much as Startlit said, bit their interactuons were adorable.

check DC. I liked padam2 bvut it focused too much on romance, when i was more inerested in father-son storylines and they rushed with some of the things there, i thought. i like it when a drama involves me from the starts, or after 5 episodes if it;s a longer drama, well 15 if it;s like a 60+ episode drama, but I can relate in a way. I do like when dramas take the time tio tell a story properly so I will appreciate the slower paced ones, as long as the story is told properly.
