what a fitting award indeed!

there is a movie cominmg up where he will be playing a north korean. As long as he doesn;t get labelled. he;s a fresh face, has talent, should play as varied as roles as possible to get himself out there.

It's a family drama with hints of makajang and makjang-like devices. In some ways, it is typical. However, I like the main protagonist, though there are times when she overacts/overdramatises but she is in general a very endearing character. I like the family, especially junWoo's mother and father, good people There are character who have some serious problems here in a somewhat typical drama fashion, but the story is actually quite nice. It had great ratings in Korea at the time of ita airing, apparently so great that they extended it by 14 episodes.

You know what Lily I have started watching Golden Bride in between work. And I quite like it, I like the main character, she 's such a nice lady, except perhaps sometimes some fragments are overdramatised. But I like her family and the older aunt/Byung Sung guy are a riot- very well matched I dare say. There is a bit of makjang in there but I donlt think this is going to very major, so far it looks like it's not going to count at the end of the day.

Yeona! Hello! Thanks for keeping in touch despite my frequent absences. Actually I have been watching some thing - Golden Bride in between, because it captured my attention for the moment and I like it though I wouldn't give it more than 8 at best, it;s a family drama but with a likeable cast. I will first need to finish Queen Seon Dok once I am on holidays and after that I will try to give legal high a try, since it sounds a bit in the humour style of salaryman. I am not yet sure about w no higeki, what is it about?

Well I'm glad my thesis has some entertainment values for someone :P I think, in retrospect, TPM is a pretty good show, but a bit on the showy side. It's good but there are times when the main protagonist is just too selfish and in the end I found myself rooting more for someone else. However, traces of Romeo and Juliet could be sensed in there, it was just a very Korean romanticised version of already sweepingly romantic tale. Got me to think is passionate love really selfish and I wonder if one was to readapt romeo and juliet, would they actually try to reinterpret it as such. I also like to follow some indie games and recently one such indie game released Cinders- a retelling of Cinderella because they felt the original fairy tale is too vacuous and fultile. The result is a bit cynical but thought provoking.

haha awww yeah kids get to be little smart alecks later on, don't they. :-) that;s why i alwadsy tend to think that teaching is best either at very small ages or at very adult ones. the middle periods are the most difficult ones.. She is quite charming all right :) I dsidn;t like her at first but now somehow I started to like her after revisiting My girlfriend is a gumiho.

Ciesze sie ze Ci sie podobaja! :) To wlasnie dobrze ze sa krotkie moim zdaniem, bo opowiadaja skonczona historie, wymyslona i od poczatku do konca, nie ma w tym miejsca na zmiany czy psucie fabuly. to drugie :D haha, szczerze mowiac ogladam sob ie w miedczyczasie cos co chwilowo mnie zaciekawilo, Golden Bride. Sympatyczna drama z elementami makajang, ale ostatecznie nie jest ich tak duzo, i nie sa tragiczne w skutkack, ot taka ciepla drama rodzinna. W oglle musialam sobie zrobic chwile przerwy od wszystiego wiec zaczelam skakac po odcinkach zupelnie przypadkowych drama. Najbardziej mi sie podoba jak w niektorychy drama koreanczcycy sila sie na wyrazenie milosci w egozytycznych jezykach, tym w polskim. haha. niektorym swietnie wychodzi wymowa! chyba musieli mocno cwiczyc ahaha. A Ty cos wydajesz sie miec jakos sporo czasu na te dramy. :) Studiujesz?

hahaha. fakt, ciezkawe, ale seaguki zwykle sa ciezkawe, tylko kazada inaczej a to aspirawlo do miana koreanskiej romeo i juli, wiec uzasadnione. No byl ojcem przede wszystkim, i martwil sie o corke na swoj sposob, chociaz potm wielu ogladaajcych sie zastanawialo co to bedzie, skoro on tam prxyszedl a Park shi hoo oslepl, ale dla mnie to znaczy tylko tyle, co ojciec przyjechal sie upewnic ze wszystko w porzadku, jak juz sie dowiedzial co zaszlo, na pewno byl przygnieciony sumieniem. Wiesz w odcinku 14/15 to a sie spodziewalam tego co tam mialo nastapic, nie zaskoczylo mnie specjalnie co nasza zakochana wariatka zrobila. to bylo tak ustawione ze trudno byloby inaczej. ale ost ladne. Mysle ze juz 7 lipca :) ale w ogle to bym chciala zeby juz sie drama ta zblizala do konca, to bym mogla zrobic maraton :D w kazym razie glowna parka przesympatyczna po porstu :)

w ogle ekspresja starszej ksiezniczki byla duzo lepsza. Tez bardzo mi zlamali scenopisarze serce- podbnie jak w k2h, ale jakos dlatego latwie mi bylo spodziewac sie tego co w k2h wlasnie przez princess man. Na poczatku bylam zachwycona tym zakonczeniem. bardzo odpwiednie, nie cukierkowe, cos sie dostje, cos sie traci, a tych dwoje w sumie duzo zaryzykowalo. w sumie romeo i julia tez byli samolubni, moze ten przekaz nie jest najlepszy, ale analogie jakies widac miedzy oboma. z perspektywy czasu wydaje mi sie ze troche za bardzo to bylo typwow dramolandowe, chc nadal na pewno dla mnie jedna z lepszych dram. a poza tym jest tym akcent bardzo pozytywny w tym zakonczeniu, chociaz szkoda troche ze taki dzielny wojownik-uczony stracil wzrok, no ale obecnosc ojca na koncu potajmnie odwiedzajacego ich byla dobrym akcentem.

happy endings are nice for a bit of fairy tailing, but they should be handled well, thought the ending to qihm spoilt a bit the logic of the previous episodes and well the telephone thing was really out of place in the entire story and it really brought the story down. Yes, it;s koreans playing with the idea of fate but it was rather poor. Also I thought they;d account for the scene from the first episode, which I thought would be the ending.

in the south where I am it wasn;t so bad, but nonetheless sometimes the weather is like- sunny one minute, raining the other, sometimes it;s all tgether, plus rather windy. I like it when it;s not too hot, to be honest, but I like the weather tio be fairly stable, and here soemtimes it's plain the opposite haha.

haha :) Yes, once you get back to reality and then try to get back to dramas, it seems like it's harder, reality pulls right back in with its shadows and its glories. I'm glad to hear things are going well. My dissertation is having long covnersations with me and is trying to convince me that I am making sense, but I"m talking right back to it, saying that it doesn't know what it;s talking about lol. In short: I have a long way to go before my argument gets any clearer. I am going on a conference in a couple of days. Let's see how that goes. I noticed that you somehow can;t get back to TPM- it;s been on episode 2 on your currently watching lists for a while. Did it bore you? The weather in the UK is like UK weather can be like: changeable, sometimes it;s quite warm and sunny, sometimes warm and very rainy. There have been heavy rainfalls here in the north, and there were floods.

A Matsuda Shota jest ze tak powiem "full package", urody mu nie brakuje, uroku a la cool guy moze bardziej, aktor dobry i przy tym ma sklonnosci do komedii, nie tylko dramatow, ne ma co. Uczysz sie?
