well giant has 60 episodes, i hope it will nit discourage you. there are moments where some of the story archs tend to drag, but it's an overall epic drama. I hope you will like him :)

depends on the taste, but he did really great in Giant, where he was the young version of Lee Bum Soo's character and did an amazing job out of it. He also starred in a tree with deep roots (one ep), Warrior Baek Dong Soo, and the moon that embraces the sun. Oh yes and he also acted in Iljimae. He's got the acting chops for sure and already in such big shoes too!

oh. a jealousy triangle school drama? You must really like it, but I bet the Japanese have come up with some interesting take yet again ;-).

Yes, I meant Yi Seul. I really had an issue with her, and the entire swinging back and forth in this triangle, it tested my patience, but the Conductor left me teary-eyed, that and it was hard not to root for our main character here. Quite a lesson that he got. In a couple of years, that boy will probably be quite the hearthrob and he;s one of three teen actors that I will make sure to watch out for in the next couple of years. The other two being Lee Hyun-woo (19) and Yeo Jin Goo (1997), they are so young and already played some big parts and did it so well, matching their adult characters in some of the dramas simply exceptionally.

hahaha, haven't quite thought of his hair as a helmet but I like the comparison hahaha. He;s the same in City Hall, except Kim Suh Nah carries that drama well. I really wasn't drawn to any characters in TGL,doctor was unconvincing and it felt very artificial all in all. Well, Something like it. It's a story about learning. Learning all sorts of things. And it's a story about being different, about having a different lifestyle and it's a story about changingand about trying. At the end of the day it left me with a good feeling. No rooftop is definitely not a must watch. Bridal mask sounds interesting and I am also waiting for it to finish airing as I have no time to watch it currently anyhow. I'm not sure about Big, it's another Hong sister drama and these are really hit or miss. I only really liked MGIAG out of all Hong sisters dramas I've seen.

He's such a charmer.

Peter Ho is such a charmer. Janine is a good actress. The two have really nice chemistry but the drama is nonsensical, stupid, cliche on cliche, overdramatised and doesn't make any sense at all, some situations are brought out just for the overdramatised effect. Plot, progress? Forget about it. The writing is terrible. But I wish the two would do another drama together, with a better story, please put these actors to a good use..they've been wasted on this drivel! The two are the show's only redeeming feature.

LOL. i know it was completely mindless at times, and the ending ..at least the story had some rules established with the time travel, the phone thing ended p being really unbeliveable, even in the context of the previous travels. Oh well. Rooftop prince was a weak drama too but I thought they handled the ending much better. at least it was a little open-ended and at least a little thoughtful, even though the drama also had many inconsitencies.
TGL was bad, so bad it hurt to watch. Cha Seung Won is quite cheesy and the story didnt help. But thank you is a different story, gong hyo jin acts a completely different character in there and the story is quite poignant. I do hope Gong Hyo Jin may surprise you, but I will be looking forward to your comments ion the drama somewhere.Indeed, perhaps one day they will do a drama together, I'd like to see that, they really looked dazzling together.

sounds like a standard k-drama fare but will give it a try nonetheless.

Make that 14 users and a whooping score of over 9! And the drama won't be out for the next month.... It's depressing. Really I find it very unfair that the score for a drama is made higher before it even airs...after that if the drama is poor low ratings from some of us who may not like when it actually does air will not affect the score so much = so scoring is thus rendered skewed and far less useful than it should be. I feel it gives a drama an unnecessary early hype.

LSG has definitely shown in his drama his honesty in acting and I really loved his characters as he matured. But I admittedly liked a lot the bodyguard and the princess, it was a nice touch. JJS looked dashing in the uniform, I still can't forget that. The overall writing and pacing was very nice and the drama was careful not to leave any loose ends to top it all.
Also- very good and fair review iof Queen Inhuyn's man. Expect to be voted down a lot by crazy fangirls, but I agree : Queen Inhyun's man did one thing well: romance, everything else failed short of any standards and the two leads were very..in volved shall I say in the kissing parts haha. Seprately they weren't much at all and the only paerts worth watching are their scenes. That's all. But it failed with the ending. Too much fan service perhaps.

Don't be, your opinion may really count among the sea of fangirlism. I am so tired of fangirlism at this point and am in the midst of reevaluating my own drama watching process. Back in the day I enjoyed the drama as I thought the two leads had good chemistry but today I realise it was most mostly LSG carrying the whole drama. After writing a fairly enthusiastic review for it a couple months back, I never stopped to give this drama another look - which is telling in itself. Your review made me actually think back to it and I'd say Gong hyo Jin was pretty squeamish. But maybe you'd like ti give her another chance in "Thank you", it;s a drama about being different. Oh I loved King2Hearts, but it's looking to ber the next dark horse aming korean dramas aired this year, unfortunately, its ratings were so low. Perhaps the issue at hand was too sensitive but you have to admire the writers
