English lit. Yes, I agree, 2012 is pretty good for dramas. I ttried watching moon/sun but I felt it was overhyped and fell short of my expectations. I loved the Salaryman though. I also loved Giant. Ahh lakorn huh, i know how that feels, they may be absorbing but they are weird aqt the same time. i can totally get that. Which one was it?

I've seen parts of it, it was engrossing and I have a soft spot for uchino masaaki. of course you're not crossing the line, any recommendations you may have are more than welcome! Indeed, you've nailed it. It's dostirubing to call this anything, because it really happened and happens as it not an isolate case unfortunately. and the film makes a very strong statement,. There should be a separate category for this kind of film making, because it is far far more than slice of life. It is an example of a cinema actually trying to do something good.

hahaha, i mostly kept skipping just to William and some of her scenes. but do you remeber the scene where he pierced himself through and then walked normally ancient superman :D And how can anyone be so lovely is beyond me. He just has this charm that sweeps you off your feet. Darn.. :D

I agree, Juniko, this movie is best left unrated. I wouldn't dare rate it.

And what annoys me even more is that such people dare call themselves educators....bring a shame to human kind and the profession whose purpose is to build edify help develop and not destroy and humiliate. This really makes me angry.

Reality is sickening. And unfortunately this movie does reality justice. I do not know how to rate this, it is not a film that I consider ratable just by its very nature. It doesn't gloss over, it is painful, and it is true. It brutally shows what hapened in that school, as if somehow was trying to give those poor kids some justice, itls really heartbreaking and it will make you angry. I will leave it on my lists without a rating. I say watch this and learn what reality is like. The movie does not hold back, for certain - it is graphic, so graphic that it is likely to make your heart stop. But- such is reality. Bastards, but it made a point as Ashu said below. It made such a very strong point that the case of got reviewed...but is it an isolated case? But at least it does draw serious attention to these problems and can make a tremendous impact. It's calling people to wake up.
