lol, I used to go on and on about how korean melodramas made all weak in the knees to some of my friends and almost made them into converts XD Fact of the matter is, Asians have a strong grasp of how to do emotions, human dramas and love stories, most of the actors act their hearts out in both commercial and less commercial productions. For dramas, they have a winning formula and what tops it all, is that in this drama making machine buisiness, the more they produce, the more variety we have and in that variety everyone finds something; it;s not just about making one 200eps plus telen ivela or neverneding soap to be watched every single afternoon in a never-ending circle of sameness, and that';s what appeals to me the most. An ither thing, I am one to start watching things from the final scene, if I can lol. With Asian dramas it really doesn't kill the suspense because I

I think Romy Schneider is the most loved version and the one with most accolades, hence I am familair with the name and her Sissi has been sitting on my plan to watch lists for some time now, so I recognised that image lol. I was first inspored to ivnestigate more about Sissi since I watched the cartoon series as a child and felt there was something real behaind all the usuall cartoony fluff. But I still liked the cartoon series.

Well, the 2009 mini series it seemed to focus heavily on the unhappy marraige theme but and in detail on personal problems and political problems of the empire; Sissi seemed to be very asserive, a kind of person that is strong and not a marionette, a good plitician and spontaneous person, the kind of person who will not hesitate to say 'You must" to her husband monarch lol. I kinda liked her. The general atmosphere seemed good, sentimental music, the sets authentic. Although I did read some reviews that the 2009 actress is def not Roma, so this version's Sissi may not be to your liking. I can't compare since I haven;t yet watched this version and since I'm not particulary well versed in that period of history, there may well be inaccuracies and some deficiencies. I found Franz to be sympathetic ad Sophie seemed really convincing.

Za moich lat pachol?cych i nastoletnich polonia 1 puszcza?a swego czasu rozne zorra i yattodetamany, lubilam wtedy Tiger Mask a z bratem czasem oglagalam Tsubas?, chociaz akurat te dwie ostatnie serie dobrze wspominam. No i hana yori dango w wersji anime, ktore obejrzalam juz duz pozniej, odpowiadalo mi pod wzgledem rysunku. Byla tez jakas anime z gigantycznym robotem i postaciami ze skrzydlami, pamietam ze jeden nazywal sie chyba olbas lol Ba i rzecz jasna sailor moon, ktora ogladalam z babcia :D Do Death note sie przymierzam kiedys sie zabiore, ale moze najpierw live action zobacze.

haha.

OHHH. lol ^^ what's it like living in Dubai? Oh, Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park. There are quite a few but the one in Hyde Park is the original I think. London is a vibrant place to be, and has fabulous libraries. I feel pretty strongly about London myself, it's an expansive place to be, and it will sound cliche but it is the place where horizons do broaden and lengthen in many ways :-)

wow, sounds like you had some interesting life experiences so far. And you;re originally from UK? I'm sorry but I can;t remeber if I asked you that, since we did talk quite a while ago and I have not yet had the chance to go through my past profile messages and a lot of things always seem to be happening, lol. You seem very exuberant and you do seem like a very creative type and seem to have lots of things to write about, which os phenomenal. For me it's not so much writing as language per se, since it's not my native tongue but I enjoy playing with it sometimes, for the moment nothing serious as I never seem to have enouh ideas to develop, in terms of creativity but thesis is teaching me this and that. lol, I liked geography..but I never said I was any good at it XD

Ah, keeping my fingers crossed then ;-) I loved English when I was in school. It was my obsession and the very reason I decided to embark on English Studies...I never have had enough of English, I still want more of it, lol It's the same with dramas lol. I had German in school but never liked it but I did learn Spanish and took up Japanese. I want o learn Chinese. But in school it was ily English that I was deidcated to. My entire time, I always tried to do something to do with English. Ever since Istarted using internet when I was already quite grown up (got my first at 18, and I didn't have my own proper one until 22yo - I am 25yo now, if you're wondering) it became to be even stronger. I also really liked Geography at school, I was fascinated by some of the environmetal aspects we discussed.

Also, I think they should have an award category for Best Title for padam, padam...it just rolls of my tongue and is so adeuqate for the camera work and general dircetion...also feels like an interesting reference ot Edith Piaf, though in French this onomatopeia may sound more like the noise of an object falling down, rather than of heart beating, but still there is this flow... pa-dammmm, pa-dammm, which also emanates from Edith's song.

lol. yes for me it will be the longest modern drama I am trying to watch but I like Jung Woong In as the older brother type cast and fr being a generally agreeable actor so it's probably my main motivation lol. I heard iot has good pacing, though. Oooh uni time, yes, so good luck in the new term! JIN from what I've seen is pretty strong. I am really happy for Skip Beat, but I'm going to wait until it airs completely I think to see it. I liked the anime, though I'm a bit gutted because I think the manga is still being serialised, that's why anime was rather inconclusive, I guess, but it was nice.

It is interesting for now. JIN a japanese time travel-medical-period-romance drama and a taiga drama called Gou. I'm about to start Jewle in the palace, ojakgyo brothers and jumon and also keep up with padam and maybe fermentation family, though frsnkly I donlt know when I'm going to watch it since holiday is over now and I have to shape up my mind to keep on working now. What about yourself?
