I need to explain better what exactly is predictable: the intertwined stories and how they come about and how they come together, you can see it coming from the moment the story within the story takes place but i really did love the ending and the movie was just thoughly lovely, with beautiful OST; it was a happy heart-warming; the one word that has to be used is charming and lovely. For romantics who like lovely films, do watch this.

Well Yoona I'm back to officially stalk your lists as I cannot decide on what to keep watching aside from padam. Watched the Classic and though I found it predictable, it was so lovely that I absolutely couldn't resist. A lovely, lovely movie with liovely OST and that feeling at the end is really charming. I hope you're doing fine there.

Title The Classic
It's the feeling from this movie that is enchanting and really appeals to my romantic sentimental side; but you totally know in which direction the story is going, there is no surprise. Still, it's told in a beautiful way and I do admit I liked how the story entered the story within the story. Music is abslutely lovely. It's a lovely movie.

Baby and me was an adorably cute movie ^^ Kim Bum looks ehteral and lovely, I really love him in this role. A bit thin, but that's probably the demand of the role, though I sometimes wonder too. Looks like since you joined you have also disocvered the addicting power of adding dramas to PTW lists, it's like a manget lol.

This film has got to be one of my favorite American films ever. I love the story, but Clint being the director,…
I've seen another good wartime movie lately- about the 1950s Korean War, called TaeGukGi: the brotherhood of war, about brothers and friends divided by war, standing on two sides, people who used to be so close together almost one..it;s ironic and seems allegorical too, in the way the story focuses on teo brothers but doesn't lose focus from the whole nation of such brothers, divided since the 1950 war was a result of the physical division of Korea after WWII, with the process beginning much earilier, I believe.

(ctd) to that point. And this process cannot be rushed, if it's meant to be authentic. At first I think we need to accept that others see things differently, accept it and move on. The bitter part of growing is that sometime arriving at the same point comes too late, however. But at the very least it is authentic then, or so I hope. on political level, thinngs are worse since politics is a natter of interests and enforcing those interests in the name of some idea that usually incorporates just one side of that Coing of Seeing. Still, in tragedies, we mostly begin to see just the Human, not political groups, nor races, nor religions. We see a Human in suffering. on most other ocassions we only tend to see the differences, the races, the divisions, and I always fear that in all our squibbles, cases of bad behaviour we forget that. And he reminds us of that.

I agree, by juxtaposing two sides iof the same coin, he has tried to give us the whole picture, to see not just one side but try and make us understand how connected we all are and that the way we see things is nit necessariuly how others see it and it can be a very epihanic experiences for thise who never thought about some things in a certain way, that's why it is so valuable. However, ultimately, there are in general two perspectives; the side of the aggressor and of the victim. Those who share experience s of oppression will ultiumately be more likely to see things in a similar way; those who are blinded by their own right, are less likely to open to new perspectives at all, because of their narrow-minded blindness. It's very complex, the question of Gaze. on individual level, we can say All Roads lead to Rome and sometimes seeing what other see is a matter of a process of maturing

And sometimes they;re fortunatewly wrong, sometimes they aren't/ I'm glad they weren;t in your case. Hope you keep having lots of great chats, then ^^

But we just have to wait and see. It can either turn into more clearing the name -revenge drama or maybe pure forgiveness drama?

We shall see, I am really looking forwars to the subs for next eps and I'd really love to know what the writers have in store for him. I think we will likely have a couple of middle episodes where things aren;t as great but I think this happens quite often and my guess is things will likely pick up in the last final episodes again. I hope. Idonlt want him to ddie either...but I think maybe we should also look at the poor angel, he looks so feeble, and there were those scenes where he was clearly struggling. But you;re right with the intelligence thing, I donlt think it will be used more but by the end of thedrama I wouldn;lt like to see that the producers and directors have rushed too much with constructing it on ideas that had tremendous potential but turned drama that is looking like Something Big into Big Nothing.

sadly malfunctioning last time I tried to check them out. oh well ultimately it may be better ti fly to adjust after the jet lag. But sleepoing on plane during the local time sounds like a good tip :-) Too bad you didn;t get to stay longer in Londin but truth be told I haven;t seen much of it yet either even though I'm here all the time. Gotta give myself a weekend for just that some time. I hope you will be able to get here for, perhaps, psych conference and do some travelling there; who knows maybe you;ll get some fellowship to come here for some time at least as a visiting phD ;-)

Hawaii sounds like a great trip lol :D MLA is the main American association for languages and literatures; it has branches in different regions. The convention is pretty big, spans several days and has a multitde of panels. also looks like a pretty posh affair since it's held in Hyatt Regency Riverside Complex in Rochester. other than that I will know what's more to know when I attend one, looking forward to it, and at least once I will go see some thing from the States lol Since I'm going for a week, three days before conference starts I do hope I will be able to stand on me feet and do some walking around. What I want to avois is getting Rochester at midnight local time or avoid spending 12 hours at JFK waiting for connecting flights- most of them are like that. I wasthinking of going to Canada and taking a greyhound from there, but greyhound;s site is niot very iformative and was

methodology of teaching English as second language as part of he Teacher pacakcge :D But they are written into the programme and other than that we do not have courses outside of the general filed of English, no. Butr..phD candidates in poland have to take exams from theory of lit and say, sociology or some other area. Unlike in England, where PhD candidates simply undergo progress review every six months and are required to have so called TRansfer or Confirmation, which confirms their status as phDs, not as M.Phil. All systems have their drawbacks and advantages, I'd say, and the willr eward you in a different way. lol, yeah, Guildford is a small pleasant town but with a pretty nice university, of Surrey. I feel relatively safe here (so important to have that kind of mental comfort) and it;s close to london so it's a perfect spot, really. Keeping my fingers crossed for your papers!

Thank you for clarifying the replacing thing, lol.the question of references should be asked the writers or producers, but maybe it can be dug up somewhere. I have taken a sneak peek at episode 12 without understanding what theylre saying, there is one scene here at least that worried me. As for studies, some optional courses really have o exams but do require some form of assesment, it can be an essay instead. I think rejection is ultimately a part of the process,m though I can't say I'm looking forward to it. I had a friend who head phD proposal rejected once because of some, pehaps backdoor settlements, but she got accepted somewhere else and says she's happier there. The thing with English curriculum i poland, they way it was structured when I was starting out (it did change a bit recently), was that it was aimed at preparing to teach, so it already covered psychology, pedagogy,

lol but very well said, I can't help but agree. I haven't properly explored his filmography but Bridges of Madison County, Million Dollar Baby and especialloy Flags of our Fathers and this powerful tale, which should be I think watched as a companion piece to the other movie, hace clearly showed me an admirable person behind directing. I love him for attempting to present two sides of the story, showing what war does to us, no matter what culture we hail from, because no matter what culture we hail from and what differences are between us we are all humans that live and laugh and suffer from any kind of war in the same ways.

I managed to catch a hold of your messages on the forums and sorry I"m writing here but I"m no longer able to keep up with the forums - did you get to talk to that person who logged on who you had thought blocked you, then? And I guess if you saw him log on it means you were not blocked, which I hope is the case :)

Z reszta nwet komercyjnosc moze byc atutem, jesli moze cos spopularyzowac.
