Such a sweet story! Densha is an epitome of endearing. And his friends are funny lol. The humour is kind of specific so this really may not to be to everyone's taste but I think the drama is relatable on many levels - looking for authentic and meaningful relationships, struggle with balancing being true to oneself vs meeting the expectations of the society. Kudos to Densha, he's corageous. And knows how to pick women- Hermes is really lovely.

It's not easy to be honest about one's own self because of society's hypocrisy. I find that society is often too egocentric to appreciate people like Densha. I see and experience it too. That's why I can really empathise with Densha's struggle to be more open. He's such a sweet person.
I'm glad he is able to find authentic relation not just online but he CAN go out to people and find a relationship that is just as meaningfl. He's more courageous than other people in this drama and Hermes also plucks up the courage to trust Densha despite having been hurt. I just love it how she is able to see and appreciate Densha's good character.

Very much so. I find it relatable and very valid. I find it sad when our desperate search for authenthic relationship forces us to think that we must become someone that is completely not what we are in order to conform to the society's hypocritical masquerade. Searching for authentcity while masquerading...these two always strike me as opposites. If you lie to yourself, how can you be authethic? And Densha tries to lie to himself, that he would be all right masquerading.
That being said I find Densha really courageous in trying to balance being true to himself and meeting what he considers to be the expectations of others. He practically stiffles his own selfhood when he packs up his room. It's sad. It's a relief that Densha CAN be himself, he's lucky to find a woman who is open to authenticity, who is open enough to be even more accepting. I really like her too.

I think it will, Hermes. I just checked the official website. It says on 04th there was some festival broadcast, so they will broadcast episode 10 on 11th :)
I don't know anything, I am myself surprised it hasn't aired yet and it's nowhere to be found....I thought it was going to end soon but I guess there is going to be at least one week delay...

LOL They dubbed William Feng?! I guess his accent was not correct enough. haha I was also surprised to hear Alec su's voice...I originally thought my bratty princess wasn;t dubbed lol so imagine my surprise too :D although the dubbed voices were quite fitting; in fact in the end I think I liked the dubbed voice more than alec's own heh.

That would be lovely, thank you for the explanation.
Aww, poor penguins.
The series had lots of easter eggs and funny inserts and was overall fun. Just recently fans made an epilogue, a 5-installment ending called Silver Lining. It gives characters so much more depth. Oh, are sims 3 big on sims dying? I used to play sims 1 but I don't think I ever died in that game, I thought it was impossible to be honest. I do want to try Sims Medieveal one day though, it sounds very appealing.
My bratty princess was a light chinese period piece with lots of humouir and cutenes. In fact I like it way way more than jade palace or huan zhu ge ge, it had a simple fun storyline and some drama bit it was not overdramatic. I particularly loved the ending and how a certain conflict was resolved. Jang na ra and alec su were very nice together. And Jang Na ra's character was a lot of fun for me.

I see. I hear you there. I like to keep an open mind about the stories I watch or read but there are things I just can't get into. I don;t loke thos sense of barrier though. Well if I hear anything about HBO monster I"ll let you know :)

lol! That is actually true. With Korean dramas if it was really a wreck I have all this pent-up frustration but if I am bored with japanese drama or it fails on all or some of it's aspects, it's like well okay this wasn't the best but it wasn't so bad...

:D I see. Yes watching dramas together can be fun way of exploring new things too. Though sometimes you may have to suffer through things you don't necessarily like. In any case, happy watching to you :)

Hahah. I guess I just may need that luck for "marry him" :P thanks!
Yes but I don't want to give up, because I just may find something in the era that is to my taste but in order t decde I need to explore. I also have problem getting into Bollywood movie oldies, yes. I have some classics from 50s on my PTw but I keep putting them aside for later. I think I will get there bit I need to experience other things first to change my perspective. It's always a process. I remever when I was 6 I didn;t feel like reading Anne of Green Gables as I was afraid it would be boring. At 10 I totally fell in love with Anne stories. I have to grow up to everything before I can appreciate it.
Yup :D That's correct hahaha :D I was struck with how adequate it was as it;s not strikingly difficult to imagine either.
Yes, I like Koum she's a little quirky much like Kimmy and I loved them in Good luck.

haha any reason is good :) Japanese are more balanced; there have been many times when I found them strikingly detoxicating after watching one or two particularly silly and oversentimentalised korean ones. Though it's the latter which tend to be most popular. I hope you enjoy legal high.

It does, but that's not just it. You rarely get good character development and progress in anime series. This one is like totally long journey and so much bonding with characters that I"ve never experienced in anime series. I'm not sure what's the status on this live adaption though. Last news I heard of it is from May, he was talking about his love for the series. What sort of anime do you like?

Reise, I forgot to ask but when I mentioned about Guillermo del Toro, you said it's possible I won;t need a TV for HBO. Are they planning to broadcast online, then? But wouldn;t that have regional restrictions, like hulu?

I am planning to read more by this one. He seems to have a talent for good stories. Did you know Guillermo del Toro is planning a live action HBO adaptation? I will look forward to your impressions from it. In my case watching monster was like :okay... at fiorst but I just couldn't leave it alone but it helped I was in major anime phase at the time. I just didn't anticipate I'd get that.

I heard it has penguins which say dood all the time XD speaking of bad endings, did you ever play the adventure series called king's quest? It was game of a dozen death scenarios for the poor character. You really had to be careful walking off cliffs in particular.
It is; actually there was one insntance that really caught my attention. there was a loght comedy historical called my bratty princess it starred Jang Na Ra. Even though she speaks manadrin, she was dubbed because of her imperfect accent. then I found out they will dub even Chinese accent if the accent is not correct enough. Too bad though, I don;t really like dubs.

Hi. Thank you for the friend request. I do tend to see your comments around the site :) Just wanted to say I recently agreed with you about Soraotobu Kohoushitsu. Despite having good ideas, the drama failed me..it was overdrawn and Aragaki Yui seems to be a little annoying in anything besides legal high.
