I just finished the series and I am literally speechless. The plot is really interesting and the main actresses do their role so well that you really come to hate their characters, even if you have to feel sorry for them afterwards. The character that has surprised me the most has been Kla, without a doubt. His argumentative turn from shy and weird fan to neurotic capable of doing literally anything for the reputation of his idols is something I didn't expect.
The end, however, has left me a bit cold. I sincerely hoped it was fairer. The scene of the crazy fans stalking Yok's little daughter in the park until making her cry made me sick, and Minor making fun of the other members' misfortunes from the comfort of her pool didn't seem like a fair ending to me either.
Anyways, in general, a very good series with very good actors who play a subject with a dark and complicated background such as the obsession of some fans with idols that they consider "perfect".
Some jokes are REALLY outdated. The homophobia of Tonhon wasn't even what bothered me most cause I know they'll…
I totally agree with you. I felt a lot of cringe with the first episode, not only because of Tonhon's absurd homophobia, which I see totally unnecessary in a young character who later has a romantic interest in another boy, but also because of that stalker feminine boy. Some scenes in the episode were somewhat outdated, but that particular scene was needless, knowing the bad image that this type of behavior gives to these people in real life. I really believe that you can make a good Boys Love series without falling into such basic clichés and stereotypes, but it seems difficult for some screenwriters...
it has been 2 years since i wrote this and the only thing that has changed since then is i turned my auto-cap…
I'm with you. She's funny, pretty and so talented. She can sing, dance and her acting always put a smile on my face. They're totally sleeping on her, how sad. (If she gets a main role, I want it to be GL tbh, though that's not very GMMTV likely, but still xD)
Why are you guys so mean to her? She is good at acting. I'm glad she's in Theory of Love. It's a face I like.
The comments are from 4 years ago anyway. I don't feel she's bad at acting at all. Maybe it was just in Ugly Duckling since they were her first dramas. Anyways, I agree that there's no need to be so rude like those first comments. She's still young and learning.
No, you're not the only one, honestly. I like the chemistry between Badz and Liz more than Badz and Smile. For…
I noticed that too. He seems to be falling in love with Smile and flirting with her but cries for Liz in every corner. I don't get it. Maybe flirting is part of his work as a boy for rent, but seems like he goes for real. Yeah, for me their romance is more like a friendship. Smile is too innocent and childish and so is their approaching. It's cute tbh, but it doesn't really work for me either. Let's see how it develops with time.
I feel really weird. I really ship the original couples, as Smile and Kyro, and mostly, Liz and Badz. If really,…
No, you're not the only one, honestly. I like the chemistry between Badz and Liz more than Badz and Smile. For me, Badz is acting more like a big brother who cares about Smile. Indeed, he said that in the first or second episode to her: "you remember me of my little sister". Honestly, I hate that resource of the "big brother complex" in some series, it makes look the romance between them like incest, because it seems like Badz is thinking of Smile as his little sister, even tho is falling in love with her (I guess). Plus, I don't really like the character of Smile... She's too childish and exagerated, it makes me somewhat tired of watching her. I find Liz more mature and natural at acting, that's why I ship her better with Badz. I think their scenes as a pairing are cuter. Smile and Badz are too cliched, imo.
He has one of the sweetest smiles! The Judgment made me cry, I wanna see Mond in a happy BL like Kluay in Waterboyy…
In fact, i wanna see him in another BL with Tytan, his partner in Waterboyy. They were so cute and they had so little screen time... I want to see them together again.
Sorry but... Underage? Where did you see that? All of the cast is of legal age, and I guess the characters as…
Maybe you're right. I've also seen the trailer and it's true that especially the female characters seem underage... At least I'll give it the benefit of the doubt; maybe with a little luck they're college students, otherwise I'm afraid I'll drop the series. I'm a huge fan of Mond and Ciize, but it would be uncomfortable to watch...
So....underage gigolos then........noo, that's not creepy at all......*rolls eyes so hard pulls muscle*
Sorry but... Underage? Where did you see that? All of the cast is of legal age, and I guess the characters as well, or at least I hope so. If not, it would be really creepy to watch, indeed...
Can anyone whose seen it let me know if there is romance in this drama? It has it in the tags, but I want to be…
There's a bit cute and sweet romance between Namnhao and Jamie at the first 4 or 5 episodes, but... they don't have a happy ending at all, indeed, it's a tragic ending.
On the other hand, Archawin and Lookkaew seem to end up together, though I'm not really sure because I've seen it without subs, but it's more likely that. At least they have a happy ending.
I totally agree with you. I would have loved to see more of them!
Really, they deserved their own series, I miss them so much. I hope that at least GMM includes both of them in another series in the future. I would love to see them together again.
I cried so much when Namnhao died in the past episode. This series are so horrible, not because of the acting or the direction, but because the topics are so dark and brutal. It's good that they want to kinda "report" this horrible behaviors of the rotten society we live in, but the way this series does it... I can barely handle it. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to watch the remain episodes.
I'm missing Kluay and Achi in this series. They were quite popular in Waterboyy, and they deserved a proper continuation as well. I don't get why GMM don't show them anymore.
