I was looking forward so much for this drama when it was announced but I must say it didn’t meet my expectations. Altough I love EmiBonnie and their characters had very sweet and cute realationship, the plot was pretty boring... heavy feeling of déjà-vu.
It took me a year to finish it but I did it! even though Iwas not blown away buy this serie, qi was truly impressed by the actresses performance. Cast, costumes and settings were truly enjoyable to watch. However, I feel like we didn’t get a chance to go all through the characters, maybe it os more developped in the webtoon? I don’t know. It’s truly a shame that the wlw romance was censored, it would’ve make so much sense. I don’t know what were the reasons besides pure homophobia to do so, but you don’t need a kiss to make it looks like love. Words, stares, actions... so much ways to express love. Jeongnyeon and Jooran could’ve had more chemistry than they actually did. Yeongseo and Jeongnyeon, on the other side, had good chemistry, and I loved their friendship. It’s hard for me to rate this drama as I had a one uear break before finishing it but I was pissed but Jeongnyeon’s behavior at some point. A character can make mistakes but I could not understand her mindset and was very frustrated. At some point, I thought the scenario was a bit silly and could’ve been better, especially with such a topic. I was expecting more from Okyeong as well, got a bit disapointed, the actress, however, had so much charisma.
I will deduct 1 star because they made aran-tawan happen. At this point, tawan doesn’t deserve aran. He needs…
I agree with you on TawanAran. This shouldn’t have happened, Tawan is so much toxic... is this the kind of message GMMTV wants to give to their audience? He is toxic and violent but there is still love. Damn, this makes me angry.
As I said in a previous comment, the short movie in the drama was so much stronger, interesting and better than the whole show 😂 still I enjoyed as I didn’t take it very seriously. I liked the girls couple but the secondary male couple was weird to me... they look very young and look so much similar that it feels a bit off idk. Anyway I'm DONE with this one 🥳
I just finished this serie. I'm rating this pretty high because I enjoyed the "soap opera" vibe but I'm aware that parts of it were like what the fuck 😂 I don’t care, I enjoyed it anyway. Tbh, I think there were many interesting things done in this drama but the writting and the directing went wrong many times also. Like... what happened with the sound design and gunshot/fight scenes 🥲 I saw worst than that but still.. be serious please. For many parts I agree with what has already been said in the comment section. However, the main leads had good chemistry which made it really enjoyable in my point of view. I especially agree with those saying the end was lazy writting.
It was my first DaouOffroad drama, it made me want to watch other series with them.
I started this serie yesterday and finished it at 2 in the morning. Each end of episode would make me watch the next one. When I started it, I was expecting something like Life (jdrama for those who know) but it was in fact very different. Still, I really enjoyed Friendshit Forever. I saw a lot of comments here and on youtube saying Tulip is stupid so I tried to watch carefuly but I can't agree with you guys. She only stupidly put herself in danger toward the end but from the beginning, she never had any proof of Baikhaw wrongdoings, especially that she was emotionnaly weak, didn’t fit with others when she met her and Baikhaw managed to be the only trustworthy person at the time. When she started to doubt her thanks to her friend Wawwa, she got manipulated and gaslighted by Baikhaw. In real life, people who are being manipulated get fooled this way. To me, she was never stupid and she apologized to Wawwa when she realized her mistake.
Speaking of Wawwa, she was my favorite character, I was so sad she died in such terrible circumstances. She saw herself die which is absolutely terrible. She was always there for her friend and tried to help her but Baikhaw is a real psycho.
Tao is grey shaded which I like. He started being manipulative as well but I think that he also is a victim of Baikhaw (which doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve punishment, especially that he is not mentaly unstable). She even forced him into sexual intercourse at some point. He was confused and she took advantage of him.
Baikhaw was so well interpreted by Pat like she really scared me at somepoint. The psychologic explaination was very welcome because I like when drama are not just like 'they are crazy' but actually give terms to explain why. Her life is a tragedy, she's a victim who became a criminal, and she smartly got close to Tulip, ended up being the only one she can ever trusts. However, I wish redemption act was not always allowed to antagonist. I like to think some are mean just because they are envious, jealous, mentaly ill and you can do nothing about that.
And to conclude, the ugly truth. I started doubting the father around ep 4 or 5 because I tried find hints in the opening 😂 I know the end feels so unfair but this actually is realistic, especially that he was already considered not guilty by court. You can't be charged twice for the same thing (at least in France, idk about Thailand) so there's nothing much that can be done... this man is disgusting just like Q was. He will remain unpunished...
I loved the music box just being in the grass in the end, I like this kind of ending
Really enjoyed this drama, and if you bothered reading everything, thank you 😆
I really hate stupid characters &Tulip is definitely of them.
I saw your comment before watching the serie and got curious, now I watched it. She's not smart in all situations but overall, I don’t really agree. She got manipulated and gaslighted all along. What makes you think she's stupid?
I just finished this serie. I wasn’t sure I would go for season two but I'm hooked! There were slow parts but the story is very original, the actors are good too. I saw some of them in the Hormones.
I gave this serie a second chance because I wasn’t hooked when it first came out. I'm not going deep in my review, I'm only gonna talk about my feelings.
When I first saw this serie, as I said, I wasn’t hooked because I was not really convinced by the bad guy stuff, except for Fadel, but a friend somehow made me watch it again haha
I thought it was not so good but not so bad until ep 6 which really hooked me from there. I think Fadel and Style are the best characters with good chemistry. Fadel is especially interesting in my point of view. There were good points here and there that truly made me enjoy this serie and made me think that it’s actuamly not so bad and that I did good by giving it an other chance. However, from ep 11 to 12, I think the plot is completly messed like the writers didn’t know how to finish it. It looks like it’s never going to end which was very tiring. So to me The Heart Killers was nor good nor bad, forgettable. Still, ep 6 to 10 were good. No need to say that cinematography and aesthetic were on point, Thai production after all 😌
Actually they are kinda slow in the novel too...Peace is denser than Wei Wuxian and Thee is too dramatic to understand…
I don’t mind it to be a slow burn actually! I meant more like repetitive but the kiss, even if I thought it was pretty sudden, broke that start of monotony Still, I'm looking forward to the next episode 😌
I started thinking it was getting slow, I hope the next episode will be better. The kiss scene had no impact in my point of view and it kind of happened out of nowhere, it saved this episode though. I was really enjoying the serie since ep 3, let’s see what’s next.
I wasn't expecting anything from this serie since the beginning so I'm not having a bad time watching it 😂 this is far from being perfect, and I think everyone in the comment section already said my thought but I'm not pissed or annoyed, I'm kinda enjoying it and chilling 😆 However, I still think that it was a good idea to put the short film in the serie. It has a very interesting plot that I wish would be more worked on in other series, and I think Tae is a better Seen than Ice.
The fact that they actually did the short film in ep 8 was really a good surprise. Moreover, the topic is very interesting and touching, they should've make it the real plot 😆
