Title My Strawberry Film Spoiler
What? I mean… Huh? What was that ending? What even happened in this show? Why did the last episode spend so much time on the Minami “big reveal” that she’s the daughter of the girl in the video, but spend so little time on Hikaru & Ryo?

Just duh, the moment Minami showed up at the school as the film-girl’s doppelgänger, it was pretty easy to figure out, of course she’s the daughter, that was not a shocker. But for some reason that’s the focus of the ending?

This entire series was a test to my patience, and ultimately a let down. There was a moment in ep.6 that led into ep.7 where I thought maybe this show could be interesting, but big nope, it fell absolutely flat.

I come away from this series with only the understanding that unrequited love sucks, which is not exactly an astounding message, but way to shove it down our throats I guess. But even still, Hikaru and Ryo feel more unfinished than unrequited in their affections. Or at least that’s what I’m choosing to believe so I can have any actual feeling about this show.

I enjoyed this show. I looked forward to watching it from week to week and I’m actually going to miss it just a bit. I did feel a little let down by the last episodes, but that’s not enough to make me change my mind. Every character was acted well, and I’ll just always be a fan of Ji Han’s, I rooted for him the whole way through.

You can’t call yourself a fan of BL if you haven’t watched Semantic Error. Yes, this is a hill I’m willing to risk life and limb upon. This isn’t just a must watch, it’s necessary viewing.

I will forever love this show and you should watch it too if you haven’t yet.

Where… is this… going… ? Wherever that might be, it’s not getting there quickly, that’s for sure. Not only is this show just incredibly slooooooow. It also makes me think that either I, or the writers, know almost absolutely nothing about teenagers. Maybe it’s a cultural thing and for that I obviously am showing my ignorance and misunderstanding, however, what group of teenagers is this dang pensive? I just don’t think that’s how they work, no matter where they’re from. This is the age where you make the most mistakes and learn from them.
Just. do. something. already.
This show is absolutely a study in patience.

I agree. Though I liked it overall, all of the MLs were so antagonistic for most of the series, there was not…
Yep, well said.

Title Jazz for Two Spoiler
This was an alright show. It felt quick and not really completed in the short time that the season/series had, but it was an enjoyable morsel of a series.

Here’s my qualm though, the chemistry between the MLs is just fire. And that kiss in the final episode, it’s completely bonkers fantastic. But why wait to the last minutes of the show to set off those fireworks?! Literally, this show was given like those huge, sky-fillling and majestic fireworks to work with, but chose to play with sparklers the whole time instead.

This, I’m sure, sounds so petty because I really just wished for one more kiss.
And plus maybe better closure on where the side couple stands. But regardless, bravo to the actors for well-played roles and embodying their characters so well.

Alright, alright. I’ll give this a 10/10. As I was watching the thought did occur that maybe this is overhyped, that yes, everyone loves to say they love it, but is it “good” or is it actually “great”? It was completely satisfying, so I’ll give it better than a “great” and say it’s simply “superb”.

Now that all is said and done, am I left a little confused? Yes. But it doesn’t really matter. When a story is done right, there is beauty and sorrow that can be felt in any beginning and every ending. There will just always be a bit of sadness and happiness for that which is left behind to start anew, and also leaving behind when it’s the end of the line. If life is a circle, then I Feel You Linger In The Air shows that beginnings bring endings and endings bring new beginnings. And what a great ending it was. Any series finale episode can make it or break it for a show, and this is up there with just the best of all time.

I have to mention that I felt a profound jealously for those that got to watch this while it was airing. I couldn’t get access to it then, but it was that show that was talked about and I was itching to watch. One VPN subscription later and at long last, I’m in. But damn, what I wouldn’t have given to watch it with you all back then.

I’m totally for a second season that is just bonkers, out of left field, time traveling havoc that brings Jom and Yai together. Let’s see them in 1823, and more of them in 2023, and any other century. I’d be in for it.

I’ve watched this at least three, or maybe four times now, and it’s up there at my favorite of all time BLs.

I will forever believe in the power of Yuma. The word miracle exists because there is and has been such occurrences to warrant the need to name them as such. So let’s go with it. Yes, the idea of outrunning an impending doom does seem both impossible and improbable. But is it truly implausible? Yuma opens the door to what is reasonable and allows the idea that just maybe, love does conquer all.

This is all just to say I would give anthing for a S2 and continuation of this story. I love it, but I want more.

On Kiseki: Dear to Me Mar 16, 2024
Just finished watching this for the second time, and if I could, I would give it 11 stars. It still totally holds up. Actually, I had even more fun the second time around because I got to binge watch, as opposed to the first time watching when I felt the agony of the wait from week to week to see what happened next.

I was immediately hooked by Chen Yi and Ai Di from the first minutes of the first episode, it surprised even me that the side couple had my heart before even the main. But I gotta say, the Ze Rui and Zong Yi storyline is much more palatable in a binge watch. I remember my attention span somewhat waning from Ze Rui & Zong Yi in the latter part of the series, but it definitely held my attention much more in the binge rewatch.

There are but a few BLs that I can positively say the main and side couples hold equal weight, and even less that I would say the side couple almost completely eclipses the main. But Kiseki: Dear To Me is such an incredible show, at least to me, because it leaves nothing that could be considered lacking.

Phenomenally acted and written, the story keeps you engaged throughout each and every episode. And what a story it is! A tour de force from beginning to end!

My heart still belongs more to Chen Yi & Ai Di though, there’s just that something special about the actors, and the character arcs, and their storyline that gripped me by the collar, held me tight, and wouldn’t let go.

This show is a must watch for any BL fan and definitely shouldn’t be missed.

Sorta still don’t know what to think or how I feel about this one. I don’t regret the two months of my life tuning in each week. It was something to watch, so I’ll give it that. And I wouldn’t consider it disappointing necessarily, it just wasn’t very engaging or interesting.

Exactly! You get it.

Come on though! This is just so much fun! Man but do I love the Ji Han and Ah Jung repartee. I’m here for it. They’re stuck in the enemies to lovers rut, where at this point I don’t think they even know which side they fall on. They’ve both been the perceived villain and the actual savior multiple times in each other’s lives in the short time they’ve known one another. There’s just that pull there between them, they keep ricocheting off each other but bouncing right back to one another. I loved when Ah Jung threw the bag with Ji Han’s shirt at his face and said something like, you’ll never speak to me again, but then proceeded to have a minutes long discussion with him. Which, what a great scene, Ah Jung’s words were sharp as a sword and equally piercing. And no matter what anyone says, I just can’t dislike Ji Han, I won’t do it, he’s a complicated character and I dig that about him.

This line in the episode had me rolling with laughter at how bad and wrong it is so I have broken it down only…
lol! After reading this it makes me think this show should be labeled as a fantasy genre bl.

Title To Be Continued Spoiler
I’m not disliking this show, and honestly after ep.3, I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens next.
My one complaint is that I don’t understand why Ji is so mad at Achi. There just hasn’t been enough explained for why he’s so mad and why Achi’s also seemingly clueless to the reason for Ji’s 10 yrs of pent up anger. Since the writers are choosing to hold on to this information as to why Ji is allowed to dislike Achi so much, it’s just making present day Ji come off as a jerk sometimes. I understand something must have happened to make Ji be hurting the way he is, but give us any kind of glimpse as to what that actually is. In the flashbacks all we’ve seen is Ji & Achi’s happiness when they are together.

I guess Ji Han knows that his brother is gay, which is why he is doing all of this!
This is definitely an interesting thought. I wonder though why he would keep pushing for his brother to be with Chae Won. I think Ji Han might still be oblivious. But it would be an intriguing twist.

It does seem like Do Han’s ex might possibly now be back in the picture though. Which I’m very excited to see more of. And it sort of felt like his ex only just found out about Do Han’s rich heir status. Which is a good parallel to Ah Jung also not being aware about this. So many secrets!

Title KinnPorsche
I’m starting to think we’ll never get another caliber show that can even come close to the epic that is KinnPorsche. From the characters and the actors, the writing and storylines, the music and settings, no holding back, everything done to the most heightened degree to give the absolute best to servicing the story… it’ll truly never be surpassed.

There will only ever be one KinnPorsche, and it already is and will surely forever be that show that others of it’s ilk will try to emulate and be compared to. But all those other shows can only ever be a mere comparison and never equal to the greatness that is KinnPorsche.

I feel sorry for the actor who plays Teena. He barely had any scene and his storyline with Zouey is nonexistent.…
Completely agree with you. Teena was the character that originally drew me into the show back when it was still being teased. He’s such a handsome guy, but eye candy is all they let him be. I'm feeling the need for some clutching pearls as well.
