@ephermal Totally agree with you! I still don 't understand why calling it bromance should be wrong. Thanks! I got my answers, so I decided to give it a try :)

@Tender tulip '''So, asking a question like "is the high rating because of bromance only?" is like asking "Is bromance all this drama has?".And it is seriously insulting to a masterpiece like this one and can definitely offend hardcore fans.'''
What?! Please now tell me HOW asking a simple question means insulting a ''masterpiece'' and offending fans? ?? First: it's YOUR opinion that it's a masterpiece, since I didn 't watch it yet, I can t give an opinion about it . The fact that it has 9.3 ratings , it doesn t mean automatically it's a masterpiece. Second: I watched so many dramas that I tend to get bored easily and, since I m currently not in the mood for just a bland romance, I was just asking if all the hype for this drama it was because of the bromance only, since almost everyone is talking only about that aspect. I don't understand how you can think that I could insult something I didn t even watch yet, with just a question.

@Seira_Mili7 First: Thanks for telling me what this is about without spoilers, that's what I wanted to know. Second: Everyone call it bromance (the tag too), I don 't understand why I should discard this word. And since I didn't watch the drama yet , I don t know if bromance it 's really the right word or not, but since everyone it's calling it like that, it's convenient for me to use this word too. Third: You forgot one important difference between TMOPB and this one: the genre. TMOPB is a romantic drama (yes, it has other genres too, but it's manly based on romance) , whereas this is not a romantic drama. If I'm going to watch an action/thriller drama and almost EVERY single comment is about romance, shipping couple, cute and so on, then YES, I'm going to ask if the high ratings is because of the romance only! Actually, I sometimes ask that on romantic dramas too, because I usually don t like when the story relies only on that aspect, but if you're going to watch a romantic drama, you at least expect that. And I only asked that because literally everywhere (instagram, youtube, forums) everyone is talking only about how good the bromance is and how cute the couple is, and since this is not a romantic drama and that s not what I'm looking for in it, I reasonably asked.
Really good, deep and meaningful story with complex characters, about difficult choices and right and wrong, and…
If that is it, I think I will give it a try. More than a romantic story, I m looking for an interesting story with well written characters. Since almost everyone was talking about the bromance here, I was afraid it was so popular only for that.
Mmmm I don t know if watch it or not. This high rating is because of the bromance only? Or the story is good itself even without the bromance part? I'm not fond of bromance series, especially when the whole story is based on that.
Edit: @Seira_Mili7 It's a bit childish to block a person without giving her a chance to reply, don t you think? ;) Replying to your last message: I didn' t think that I needed to explain this, but it's ok, I understand that some people need an explanation for everything. I know that you wrote that sentence replying to @ephermal but I quoted it because you were referring to me and this "drop-the-disguise " thing. Should I copy and paste the entire reply for you to understand better? I advice you to reread your first reply to my quesiton. You clearly wrote "I politely ask you to discard that word here." . You used the word "discard" , It's pretty clear what you meant so it's useless that now you try to twist your own words to your 'advantage'. Where is my comprehension skill, you ask me? Above yours, for sure. If you really think that the term bromance has some homophobic undertone, maybe the problem is you, not the people using it . Your exaggerated reaction says it all. ;) I'm happy that I made you laugh so much. A good laugh relieves tension and stress . I hope you will be more relaxed next time, if there will be a nex time. ;)
That scene between Ji Sung and Lee Se Young after Gi Seok dies in Episode 15 without music is Ji Sung at his very…
Are you talking about the scene in the operating room, right? Yes, that scene had a great impact one me, really powerful. I've already watched it several time ! Great acting from Ji Sung and from Se young too, her expression was on point. So much feeling!
if you think about it realistically, their romance never come to fruition, he betrayed Man Wol and even broke…
Mago decided to make Yeon Woo and Mira meet only for pure fun, as she said herself to her sister. Even if their end is tragic, CM and MW still loved each other, you can't cancel their love and their memories together. CM has been her fisrt love, he made her know what love is. That s why the sense of betrayal at the end and the pain was so strong. And again, I bet that if CS was in CM 's situation, he would have done the same. thing. And this healing love you re talking about, I couldn t feel any of it. It's a fact that CS helped her to go to afterlife , he 's the main lead so this was his role, of course. Here I'm talking about personal emotions and sensations that I felt only when MW and CM were together.
if you think about it realistically, their romance never come to fruition, he betrayed Man Wol and even broke…
There are no elements that suggests that yeon woo and the princess were meant to be together, so this is just your supposition . Both MW and CM were just unlucky to be born in those difficult times. I can t blame at all CM for what he did. I think if CS was in CM 's situation at that time, he would have made the same decision to save the woman he loves. I m not saying that it is the right decision, but I just can t blame him for taking it. And, personally, I didn t feel any love between MW and CS, if they were meant to be together it was just because CS was the main lead. MW and CM gave me more emotions in those few scenes together than MW and CS in all their scenes. Well, this is just my personal feeling.
if you think about it realistically, their romance never come to fruition, he betrayed Man Wol and even broke…
"Even if Man Wol and Chang Myung got reincarnated, there is a high percent chance that they're not gonna meet each other and even if they meet each other, they would repeat the same tragedy as their last lives"
Maybe you forgot that Yeon woo and the Princess who killed him reincarnated and they are living happily together in this lifetime ...
This drama is very close to reality. i also believe one of the lessons its trying to teach is communication with…
I see the 'no communication ' just as a plot device used only to create misunderstandings and separate the leads. If you remove misunderstanding, separation and useless angst from the story, almost nothing remains to fill 35 episodes. I know there are people with communication problems, but I don t think that was used to teach us a lesson, and even if that was the screenwriter's intention, it was really done badly. There is no character growth whatsoever , and I'm talinkg about Qiao Yi. In dramas It's okay to see normal people making mistakes as every normal person does, but I like to see them learning from their mistakes, improve and grow as person. Better yet if you fall in love with someone. It should help you to learn from each other , improve , overcome your fears, and grew TOGETHER , that is the journey that I wanna see in a 35 episodes series. Not just useless and cheap angst, misunderstanding and separation.
My main problem with this drama is that there is no communication whatsoever between the main couple and that leads to stupid misunderstandings. If they just talked to each other like normal people do, there was no need to wait six damn years . I don t understand WHY she doesn t tell him about his father accident, there is really no reason to not tell him about it! And then she leaves him like that without giving him an explanation and she got some never calling him "mawkish" just because he likes her. And then after 4 years she takes some courage and decides to RESIGN from her secure job and goes living in another city only to pursue her loved one Yan Mo but she does literally NOTHING to clarify the misunderstanding and get closer to him. She is so weak and so passive! Just TALK girl! Do you really need other 10 episodes to confess him that you re there because of him, really? And you are annoyed too while telling him that because he, in your opinion, should have know your real feeling? Really? NO.
Thanks! I got my answers, so I decided to give it a try :)
