Yess the double standard is crazy, to me it seems the both suffered equally enough that there should be no reason to take sides and pity one, while hating the other in the relationship. They both have their fair share of right and wrongs, or misunderstandings, and that's how complex characters are made. Imagine watching a drama with plain black and white characters (morally), how boring that would be.

One could argue Susu wasn't shot directly at her vitals, but Qingyu was. But yeah, still inconsistent, especially with ML today
