I love this drama so much, but I have to say smth, the mother is treated as completely innocent. I don't think that's right. Even if she did not cheat on her husband, she still left her child behind, and it's implied she never showed up for her in parent-teacher meetings or performances at school. Isn't it a bit weird that she never put any effort into her child till she showed up next to Fu Mingyu, directly inside her social circle? Acting as if she cares so much- yes, she gave her a card with money, but did she ever actually show up for her at her lowest?

In the previews she still has 3 stripes on her uniform ughhhh

idk why they started the scene like that, shouldn't they show how they got the point where Yue Yang was unconscious, theres no explanation whatsoever, idk this drama has way too many plot holes, they never mentioned LuMing's cause of death either.

No that makes sense, I get what you mean, the entire LuMing death situation was such bad writing, they didn't even reveal his cause of death. Maybe it also seems that way because FL doesn't show her emotions and is not used to feeling loved, the awkwardness at the start of their dating can be seen by her expressions, it feels to unfamiliar to her I think like she says its her first smth smth dinner since her dad past away, she will probably get better at reciprocating as she learns and feels more comfortable. She definitely wants the relationship, she doesn't say it out loud like ML does, but I can see it in her expressions at least, and she subtly hints at it, I think there's some shyness too. ML is a total simp hahaa, actually we never see the why and hows of him liking her, ngl he seems like a typical ML, not much special to him, bro's entire personality is about liking her.

In The Double she was FL's half-sister, and in Kunning Palace she was the grand princess
