Frr oml, the way she demonises QingYi, and loves all her other children, kinda seems conditional with QingYu tho. Like it was literally the fault of adults that the babies were swapped, I can't believe they're taking it out on the children now bruh, even Inspector Li having to deal with his dad.

None of them even have exposed feet, like they're just shoes, which often show a character's status and personality, especially with the way they walk. I didn't even notice till you pointed some out, seemed pretty normal to me, so many dramas do this. Not sure why you get so triggered by shoes atp.

Sure I don't disagree with any of that, all valid. I just believe its not as good as being bought into the discussion of every drama, and ppl saying that drama is not as good as POJ. Even the dramas of completely different eras, settings, and actors, which have nothing in common. Never said POJ was bad, was not my intention, sorry if it sounded that way. Also I mentioned netflix to reference the level of exposure it has gotten compared to other cdramas of similar genres and cinematography, which also include all of what you have mentioned.

Rightt, under every cdrama there's a comments saying its not as good as POJ, even on never ending summer bruhh which is completely unrelated, might be the one you're talking about. Like I genuinely cannot understand, POJ wasn't smth insane either, it just had the luck of being on netflix and starring zhang linghe. There's many just as good as it or better hahaa.

This drama is not that bad, people here cannot compare it to POJ and his other works, they are completely different genres and settings. But yea the editing sucks for sure, so choppy. Cinematography - its like any other regular cdrama, obv can't be compared with some of the netflix releases, but its not bad at all. Acting - the cast has some of the top tier actors, not just the leads, and their expressions are on point. Plot - it's not anything crazy but it works, and we're only 7 eps in, its too early to judge.
