Doctor John is such a healing medical
drama that inspires people to learn and understand pain through patients and the stories they have to tell.
Cha Yo Han, our head doctor, is probably the most understanding doctors you will ever meet. He’s a great listener and a medical genius, but is diagnosed with CIPA,patient doesn’t feel pain or temperature and doesn’t have the ability to sweat.
I just love how he changes and inspires all the people he meets.
I loved the character dynamics in the cast as well. The group of residents in the pain management center were so cute.The dialogues in the show are exceptional and it is accompanied by great acting and screenplay.
The OST’s are definite additions to one’s playlist.
Despite it being heavy on the subject of diagnosis and treatment, it is easy to follow. The drama, on the whole, was deep-seated and emotive. With its optimistic and happy ending, Doctor John definitely tops my list of favourite medical dramas making it a must-watch.
