A real rollercoaster of emotions
The drama captivated me from the first second, with a mysterious beginning filled with impressive effects. You will laugh and cry hard in this drama. There are moments that will make you laugh so much you will cry and then there are others that will break your heart and make you cry for real.
First and foremost, a giant applause to the main cast of Ji Sung as Cha Do Hyun who also embodies seven personalities and Hwang Jung Eum as Oh Ri Jin, a resident psychiatrist. I was totally mind blown by both of them and how talented they are.
The story is about Cha Do Hyun, the wealthy inheritor of a family corporation, and his struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), better known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Do Hyun (Ji Sung) was living in America to avoid letting his family know about his mental state, but an incident takes him back to Korea, where he is forced to confront his traumatic past and face the responsibilities he has to fulfill as an heir. As his seven personalities disrupt and cause disorder in his life, Do Hyun enlists the help of psychiatrist Oh Ri Jin, (Hwang Jung Eum), hiring her as his personal physician in an effort to cure his disorder.
I loved this drama. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys psychological dramas, romantic comedies, or just K-dramas in general. There’s something in Kill Me Heal Me for everyone.
