I'm beginning to think they've jumped the gun with ML's secret being revealed so soon to the audience. It's more…
I wouldn't say he's behaving stalker-ish. I believe that's why they revealed those moments in the past (especially with her death) which explains why he's behaving the way he is. He's just trying to protect her from her previous fate since he doesn't know she also returned to the past and is worried she might make the same decisions without seeing the true side of her BF and so-called friend. The timing is on point to me similar to the webtoon.
I dont want it to follow the webtoon :( (I Dont have faith in the webtoon, sorry for negativity) I love all the…
It'll most likely be different (in certain parts) looking at the direction of the webtoon right now. They'll most likely have it set up for her to end up with Suho
Let's talk seriously, OK, we liked the plot of this drama, but it eventually has a big culture problem, as I watched…
True. But these kind of issue depends on the situation between both parents. For example, my best friend didn't have a father growing up and that was due to the fact that her parents met on vacation and had a one night and went separate ways and her mom found out she was pregnant and had no contact for the dad. In the drama and South Korea as well, there's a a lot of misconception around a single-parent household and the pressure to have both parents in the family which is what often results in the child feeling the need to have the other parent. My friend's situation is very different because of the culture she grew up in where being in a single parent household is often commonplace and wasn't prejudiced. Overall, it's a very real life situation and everyone has their own reason for the choices they make.
I love these Slice of Life character driven shows as it's all based on the character choices more so than being plot driven. It makes it more exciting to just follow the characters and see where it goes.
It was good but (I'm not sure if it's because I've read/watch wayyyyy too much BL) the story fell into a cliche pattern and didn't feel very fresh or new. Btw, I'm not looking at this from the perspective of SK finally doing a BL drama but from the perspective of how LGBTQ+ stories are often told when written by cis women and acted by straight men. I don't know but as good as it was, it didn't make my heart flutter.
Omoooo!! I'm in love so far. I especially love the stop motion animation they used to pull us into the story of the characters as we dive deeper throughout the series. The setup is great and the mystery is seductive <3 Fingers crossed for the future episodes :)
Also, I'm happy that it doesn't feel too rushed especially since it's dealing with sensitive mental health topics.
Officially dropping this series now. The show became predictable from the first episode and i'm honestly tired of seeing straight people pretend to be gay. This series could've been much better if they had stuck with a simply hetero romance plot OR actually tackle lgbtq issues properly by making Jin Sung gay. The only character I like is Tae Wan as he's very precious and needs to be protected from the other main characters. On the other hand, the mean co-workers trope is so overplayed. It's 2020, can we try another angle next time?
This is so f**cked up! I mean..COME ON!!! How the hell can they just end it so abruptly like that? There's so much more to the story to uncover. Too incomplete. They should've at least let us know that they were gonna cut it 24 eps short. Tsk tsk tsk
I absolutely love Nodame Cantabile and the J-drama was great. I think Joo Won is a perfect match for the role of Chiaki but the problems lies with Nodame's character: who will be able to pull her off?
